"Brother... I have... a brother?" I ask in a completely calm voice.

"Yeah... i'm sorry for hiding this from you... but I couldn't tell you" Briaunna replies.

"Why couldn't you tell me?"

"I can't explain it to you properly... I need to tell you about him first."

"That's fine... just tell me...." I say keeping my cool.

"Well... I will start with when he was born" Briaunna says while pulling up a chair.  I grab a chair and sit down as well.  Brima still looks at us from the couch.

"Around 20 years back, when I was 14, I ended up having Adam 2 months after my birthday.  Seeing as it was your father's and mine's first child, especially at such a young age, we were reluctant on keeping him.  We were thinking of putting him up for adoption.  However, after spending a few days with young Adam, we bonded and decided to keep him.  Years went by, and Adam learned how to walk and speak.  Adam had really bonded with your father, and those two were always off playing somewhere.  Though, your father was very reckless, and taught young Adam how to use his fire techniques at the age of 4.  It wasn't too long after this, where the incident involving your father's death came.  Of course, Adam was torn up about this.  And the worse part about this was the fact that your father died on Adam's birthday.  He was a very intelligent 4 year old with a bright spirit, but his father's death was his first strike.  A year after you were born, Adam started to act strange.  He was getting upset that I gave you so much attention over him.  I had told Adam that you were just a baby and needed a lot of attention.  Day after day, I had no choice but to ignore Adam over and over because you needed a lot of attention.  Adam grew tired of this, and walked up to me one day.  'Mom, sorry to say this, but I've joined the special ops' he says to me.  I thought he was just being funny, because he was just a 5 year old.  Him joining the special ops would have been crazy.  But he wasn't joking.  Apparently he was so talented, the special ops team actually allowed a 5 year old to join.  Adam said they told him he was a credit to the team, stronger than anyone else there.  I thought this was silly, how they had a 5 year old join the special ops just because he was strong, so I called the academy.  They told me a bunch of situations in which Adam wouldn't be able to join in, but they also said he would be valuable for certain, non-life threatening missions.  I still didn't want Adam going, so I grounded him in his room."

Adam grabs the bag of items he gathered together and climbs out of the window.  He slowly and quietly creeps across the rooftop his window was beside.  He gets towards the edge and looks over, noticing how high he was.  But he was skilled in beta, and jumped off the roof using beta to fluff his landing.  He scurries across the multiple yards surrounding him, and disappears in the moonlight.

"Adam?  Adam!?  Adam! Where are you!?" Briaunna yells out at the top of her voice.  She sweats tremendously as she searches around the house looking for Adam.  She checks Kiruh's room and notices he has been crying due to Briaunna's yelling.  She grabs her holo watch and calls her next door neighbor.  She asks her neighbor to watch Kiruh while she searches town.  Briaunna opens the door letting her neighbor in who is concerned about the situation.  She tells him not to worry too much.

Briaunna grabs her items and runs out the door.  She searches house by house, and the entire neighborhood.  She contacts the Elemental Academy, knowing he snuck out during night.  She runs up to the main desk and slams her hands down.

"Did a 5 year child named Adam come here!?" Briaunna yells out.

"W-well, there was someone that passed through late last night..." the surprised receptionist says.
