Elemental Testing I

We walk to the end of the huge hallway. At the end, there are two other hallways leading to different paths, one on the straight ahead, and one on the right. We go through the one straight ahead, and started walking through a very long hallway.

There are nothing but classrooms. The hallway is about 600 Yards long. After we got halfway through the hallway, the sergeant raises his hand up.

He tells us, "Stand Straight, and with honor! We have a special surprise guest today. You guys are the lucky ones! Normally he never comes out during the tutorial session. I'm assuming there's a big meeting."

We all turn our heads to look down the other end of the hallway. We saw a whole lot of guards walking through. About 12 of them, surrounding one man. No one got a glimpse of him. But I managed to see at least the top half of him. He is a white male, about 6'2". He has short black hair and he has white markings on his face, specifically around his eyes.

The man didn't even glimpse at us, neither did his guards.  They just all walked past us, like we didn't even exsist.  The Sergeant was just standing there saluting.  When they we're about 25 yards down the hallway, the Sergeant finnaly stopped saluting.

"That right there, is the strongest Captain ranked Elemental user here at the academy. Same rank as Mikkai that you've met previously. He's a wind type. Normally, wind would only be used for long ranged defensive techinques. But he's somehow managed to turn wind into his very own blades. I guess he compresses his wind down to the size of a knife's blade, while also streching the element out to give it a sharp feel. Oh yes! This reminds me, we need to find out what your elements are don't we! Lets go down the hallway. We'll make a right and there is a testing room. We will see what all of your elements are."

We walk to the room, our line getting slightly out of it's perfect straightness. When we enter the room, we see nothing but tanks, terminals, seats, and papers. But the room itself, is large. But what isn't in this building.

We walk in, and the sergeant tells us to line up side by side.

After we do, he says, "Okay! Which one of you wishes to go first!?"

That nerdy kid from before, volunteers first. "Sure, i'll go" he says.

"Well come on up to the elemental tester then! Just sit in this chair and let us do the rest."

The boy starts to slowly walk up to the chair. The sergeant screams as the boy makes it half way, "Hurry up boy! There are people waiting!"  The boy then jumps and runs to the chair.

He quickly sits down and closes his eyes. The sergeant tells him, "Don't worry. This won't hurt not one bit. We are only testing you for your element as all."

Then the sergeant goes to the side of the machine. He pushes a button to turn it on, then pulls some sort of helmet that is attached to the machine, over to the boy.

He puts it on him, then goes back to the machine and presses a button to activate it. The helmet lights up, making some wierd power up noise, and then the powering up noise quickly stops. A green light appears on the helmet.

The sergeant walks around to see the helmet, and he says "Ah! So you're an earth type. That means you have no weaknesses! But in return, you have no strengths. But you can bend the fabric of earth itself, and you can use rocks or grass, and turn them into your very own weapons!"

The sergeant then turns around to us. "Okay! Let me give you guys a heads up on how to work this machine here! Bilial! Come out here!"

A man with a lab coat appears out from the back room. He has glasses so thick and shiny, you couldn't see his eyes one bit. He had medium white hair, and had markings similar to that wind element guy. It seemed he was a scientist that worked under the elemental wind user.

"Yes sir?" Bilial replies. "Go back there and work the machine for us. We're having another tutorial session today."

"Yes sir" Bilial replies, once again.

"Now i'll be stepping outside for a minute, but Bilial will operate the machine for you guys. Now i'll tell you pansys exactly what each color means. Whenever you are finished being tested for your element, the helmet lights up, in a specific color, as you've seen with the nerd over there. Green means Earth, Yellow means lightning, Blue means water, White means wind, Red means fire. Oh, by the way, introduce yourselves as you guys are going up to be tested. Now I want everyone to get lined up, in the order you wish to go."

It took us a few minutes to get lined up exactly. Most wanted to go first. We we're eager to see which element we were. I however, was not as eager as the rest of us. I just wanted to get training. My dream was too far away.

As we finally get lined up, I turn out to be number 16/18. The kid in front walked up to the machine, turned around and yelled out "The name's Kyeru! I'm pretty sure that not only am I the first person up here, I'm also the strongest! Just watch me get the lightning element!"

Kyeru has red hair, mysteriously it was his natural hair color. Apparently, he is extremely hansome, because i've heard many girls speaking about him the whole tutorial. Kyeru also has this scar over his nose, it looked like a cut. He is wearing Tan baggy pants, with a drape covering the back part. He also wears a long tan shirt and has a cape always over one shoulder. He also has a scarf covering up his neck. Even though the weather was 89 degrees Fahrenheit, he always tries to look heroic. But in these times, the clothing was pretty different compared to 20 years ago.

The boy that was behind Kyeru called out from the line "But Kyeru, apparently the strongest element is wind. You saw that wind element guy."

Kyeru replies, "But he's only the strongest because not only is lightning weak against wind, that wind element guy can use his wind as blades! And I don't like the idea of having a defense-only type of element."

Then Kyeru walks up to the machine and sits in the chair. He quickly puts on the helmet and puts a grin on his face. Around this time, the sergeant slipped out without us even noticing.

Bilial then presses the button and then blankly looks at the machine. Kyeru doesnt take the grin off his face for a second, and when the powering up noise stops, he quickly stands.

He looks at the helmet and sees that the light is red. Kyeru is a fire type. Then, with a very disappointed face, Kyeru slowly walks back beside his friend. He tells him, "This is just bogus. Sure, fire is hot, but its easily dodgible! Lightning is fast and quick to the point."

His friend pats him on the side and tells him "I'm sure fire isn't bad at all. Its not the element, remember, its how you use it."

Kyeru replies, "But didn't you just say that Wind was the strongest element?"

"I lied" His friend replied.

Kyeru's friend then walks to the front, and turns around. "My name is Raikami. All you need to know about me is, if anyone messes with Kyeru, i'm afraid i'll have to kill them."

Raikami is wearing a big white overcoat that is buttoned up, which is covering most of his clothes. His shirt is not visible, but he is wearing white pants, baggy just like Kyeru's. Raikami has the same scar as Kyeru, only his is over his right eye. Raikami has two different eye colors, his left one blue, and his right one red. Raikami also has long white hair.

Raikami walks up to the chair and sat down. He put on the helmet of course and Bilial presses the button. After the process is done, Raikami looked at his helmet. It is yellow. Raikami called out "lightning" and Kyeru could only get an angry look on his face. The ironic thing is, Raikami literally translates to 'lightning god'.
