"Are the we ready for extraction?" A voice says.

"It seems everything has gone in order now.  It's time for us to finally make our move" Another voice says.

"And what is the plan?"

"First thing's first... we need to capture the boy, and the girl.  They are essential to our plans."

"Even I don't know what we are using them for... mind sharing?"

"You'll find out if this capture is a success."

"What do you mean if it's a success?  Of course it will be a success...  we surpass all the chump change the academy has to throw at us."

"You seem to forget about the general.  He may not look like it, but his power is astonishing.  No one has ever defeated him, or better yet even touched him in battle.  I'm not even sure the boss can take him in their weakened state.  Sealing that one guy's power took a lot out of the boss, you see..."

"Right... forgive me for my ignorance.  Will you be needing me for this mission?"

"No... I'll head off alone.  You stay here until further notice, Oscuro..."

"Will do, sir."

I wake up the next day in my bed, feeling more tired than ever.  I make a big yawn and slowly get out of the bed.  I do the usual putting on my clothes and freshing up, but I do it all much slower than usual.  I run down the stairs to greet Briaunna and Brima, who is almost finished cooking breakfast.

"Okay... nothing is going to stop me from eating this delicious food this time..." I say while I make my way towards the kitchen table.  A few minutes later Brima says "Um... breakfast is ready..." and I quickly rush to the kitchen.  I grab a plate and throw whatever I see down on it.  I run back to the table and slam my plate down. 

"Thank you for the meal!" I say gratefully to Brima.  I pick up the utensils that were on the table, but before I am able to jab my fork into the food, I receive a holo-watch call.  I sigh, put down the fork, and pick it up to see who it is.  A image ejects and I see it's Rina calling.

"Kiruh?  Hey!  I wanted to ask you something!"

"Oh... um... what is it?" I say while thinking about what happened earlier.

"Well um, so you see, I'm going to end up going out on another date with Suiyomi... but strange enough, he asked me to ask you if you wanted to come along!  I don't really mind, but it is a bit strange for him to ask that.  Kristy will be tagging along as well... so anyways, do you want to come?"

I pause for a second, secretly pissed at Suiyomi.  Then I look up at the holo-ejected image and ask "You mind if I bring someone along too?"

"Sure, why not?  I guess you should bring a date yourself so you won't feel left out!"

"Uh... yeah, I guess..."

"Okay then, we are meeting at the outside theater downtown at around 9, do you know where that is?"

"I'll find my way to it."

"Okay then, don't be late!" Rina says, and then she hangs up.

I stand up and look at Brima for a second.  Then I say "Hey Brima... um... would you like to go on a double date?"

She blushes very heavily and she starts to fidget around a lot.

"WHOA THERE!" Briaunna suddenly shouts.  I look over towards the kitchen table and notice that all my food is gone, and that Briaunna's plate is stacked.  "What did I say!?  I don't want no dating going on around in this freaking house!  It went along the rules with me allowing her to stay!"
