Antheia

As we arrived at the open field we saw people dancing around the campfire. The sun already went down as the dark sky was already out lightening up the place with the moon and the stars. The music filled my ears as I walked closer to the campfire. "Let's dance", I said holding my hand out for Artemis.

She smiled before taking my hand as she lead me to the campfire. As I heard the music more clearly I started to dance, I could feel the rhythm as I started to move my body to it. Artemis started to take my hand and joined me. We swayed our hips to the music as we started to feel it more and more. I ran my hands all over my body , as I started to laugh loudly to see that the other women joined our rhythm. But as soon as it started, it ended. It seemed like their attention went elsewhere. "Come on Artemis, let's find something to drink", I said. She nodded but kept dancing. "You know what you can keep dancing and I will find something to drink", I said.

As I saw that she didn't respond I walked away towards the food section. As I saw that no one was standing behind the counter I served myself. Right as I turned around I bumped into someone. I quickly took the towel before cleaning the stained shirt when I looked up.

"It's you"

Ares

The place was more crowded than I expected it to be. People were gathering around the campfire as they cheered loudly. Curios I walked towards them to see many women dancing happily while swaying their hips on the rhythm. They laughed in joy as they danced. It was a beautiful scene to witness.

As the rhythm started to speed up, the gathering group started to clap loudly. That's when my eyes landed on someone that seemed quit familiar to me. I just couldn't pin point who it was until she turned around. "Artemis?", I gasped as I stepped back. She didn't saw me as she continued dancing. "What is she doing here between all these mortals?", I asked myself as I slowly started to back off.

That's when one of the mortals noticed me before walking towards me. "Hey Ares, long time no seen", a girl said touching my chest slowly. I smiled as I saw that many girls followed after they noticed me standing there. Just as the girls started to suggest things, I casually looked over to the other stands to see someone walking over to the food stands.

The way she walked just hypnotized me as I saw her hips sway from left to right. I felt attracted as I walked closely to her. Just as I wanted to introduce myself she turned around before bumping into me. Juice splattered all over my shirt as she looked in shock. Avoiding eyecontact she started to clean my shirt before looking up.

"It's you", she said with a disturbed look on her face. That's when it dawned on me, it was Antheia. The mortal that had entered my thoughts but never actually left.

She put the napkin away before walking off, I grabbed her hand but she quickly pulled her hands away. "I need to go", she said giving me the cold look that made me let go of her.

I stood there in confusion as she totally disappeared into the crowd. "She can't just walk away like that", I said as I decided to see where she was.

Artemis

"Hey, why did it took you so long?", I asked as she been away for awhile. "I think it's best that we leave. Now!", she said in a stern voice. "Why? What's going on", I said. But before she could answer Ares appeared from the crowd, " Well what do we have here?", he said with a smirk on his face. I was in shock. How could I forget that he would be here too!

I just stared at him with an open mouth when Antheia intervened. "Sorry I didn't get your name last time, who are you?", she asked. He seemed taken aback by her and just stared as she looked at him with questionable eyes. The atmosphere that surrounded her changed in an instant as she gave him the cold look.

"Ehm my name is Ares.", he said scratching his head nervously. Even though I could feel myself laughing about this it felt wrong too. "Can I maybe speak to you Antheia?", I asked as I held her hand. She followed me as we walked further away from Ares. "Do you know him?", I asked as she stared daggers at him.

"Yes", she said coldly. "Did he do anything bad towards you?", I then asked curious as to why her mood suddenly changed. "No, he has always been nice towards me. But something feels off about him.", she said now with a worried face. "Can you explain what you mean by that?", I asked.

" Death"
