Antheia

After that word came out of my mouth she stopped. It really looked like she stopped functioning for awhile. "It's not possible, how are you sure?", Artemis asked. "I showed you the moment when I was dragged into the water and everything turned black", I said. She nodded and I sighed, "It was the pain of every single living creature that I felt. I felt how people were getting killed during war. I felt the peace leave my body and all I could sense was death and pain. This is the exact feeling what I am feeling right now,", I said

She looked at me in shock before shaking her head profusely. "It can't be", she said. "How do you know for sure?", I asked already sensing what was going on. "I know him, he's my friend.", she said.

That was all I need to confirm my suspicions. He was an immortal. All I could say was that I needed to go, she nodded and let me be. I started to walk back home thinking about everything about what just happened, why am I feeling so differently about him right now? How did I sense those things?

I was almost home when I heard footsteps behind me. I quickly stood behind a large tree before looking who was there but that's when I was turned around before getting pinned against the tree. Anxiety pumped through my veins as I looked up to see Ares.

"What did I do?", he asked as he looked me dead in the eyes. I looked at him not having the chance to talk as the lump in my throat prevented me for speaking. He inched is face closer breathing into my neck, "What did I do?", he asked again. Even though I felt the fear build up, I could feel my knees give in as my body started to warm up. As he smirked I regained my composure before pushing him hard. He seemed shocked for a second before smirking again, "You can hit hard, I can give you that", he said. I rolled my eyes before walking away but once again he prevented me from moving.

"What do you want?", I huffed as I looked at him.

"You haven't answered my question yet"

Ares

She stared at me as if she was thinking for an answer before looking me up and down. "Nothing. You did nothing", she said with a stern look on her face. "Come on princess loosen up", I said softly. It wasn't meant for her to hear but she seemed to notice as her face had a confused expression on her face.

We stood there in silence for awhile before she walked closer to me. Every step she took made my heart skip a beat, she looked so beautiful as she had a white silk dress on that hugged her body perfectly. Her shoulders were than covered with a white scarf that seemed familiar for me. Her hair was in a neat bun as it made her natural face stand out more. She was just simply said breathtaking.

I looked at her until she stopped right in front of me leaving no space between us before slowly standing on her toes, letting her face stop right next to my ear. She breathed softly but it was enough to make my knees weak. I couldn't think properly as the longing for her touch was the only thing that ran through my mind. "You are blocking my way", she said before straightening herself again.

My face turned bright red as I realized that she got to me. Without thinking I stepped aside making the path free, still in trance by everything that happened. As she saw the look on my face she smirked before walking away into the distant. I just stared at her until her figure just faded away.

"What just happened?"

Antheia

I felt my heart skip a few beats as I stopped right in front of him. There was little to almost no space between us as I inched my face closer to his ear. I could see his body stiffen as I slowly breathed out. "You are blocking my way", I whispered before looking at him.

His face was red as I could see him taking a few short breathes. A smirk started to display on my face as he just looked at me still frozen not moving a single muscle. I felt the power rise inside of me as I slowly walked away letting his hungrily eyes watch me disappeared. The feeling didn't stop as I arrived home.

"I guess that you were with Artemis ", my mom said as she saw the smile on my face. My mother started to get ready before laying bed. I joined her as I just stared at the ceiling.

"Why do I feel this way when I literally can feel the bad intentions he has around him?"

Artemis

I couldn't believe what Antheia just said, I knew Ares for a long time and I know that he isn't the best guy to be around but he has a good heart even when he didn't want to admit it. I just stood there as I saw Antheia walk away. I knew that she needed her time to think so I let her be. I made sure that there wasn't any treats that could harm her before looking for Ares. After walking around the place, I still couldn't find him. "He's probably with a mortal", I mumbled to myself.

As I arrived at the palace I went and took a shower before laying in my bed. I was about to fall asleep when I heard someone storm in my room before closing the door behind them.

"We need to talk"
