"You need to be careful, Ares. You can't just go and sleep around with those creatures. What will happen if you get one of them pregnant?", my mother hissed at me angrily. I rolled my eyes as I heard the raise in her voice.

"Mother, where else can I go and fulfill my needs? I had fun in the palace. Besides that, mortals seem to have a lot more fun", I shrugged with a smug smile on my face.

"There are so many goddesses that are willing to please you, my son. ", she said before walking away leaving me alone on the balcony.

The sun shined bright as I looked down upon the earth, "Today is quite a beautiful day, let's see what they have in store", I said walking towards Phobos.

My eyes closed in relief as Phobos took off. I felt so suffocated in the palace. As if I had nowhere to go. I loved being normal for once, even if it meant that I had to be among the mortals. Soon we landed as Phobos stood at his regular spot. "I will be back soon."

I walked closer to the city as the voices became even louder. It seems like it's more crowded than I had expected.

"Hey Ares, nice seeing you again.", a mortal said out of nowhere. My eyes lingered over her figure as I couldn't remember her. "And you are?", I said trying to get her name. "You don't remember me? Ares, we've spent the entire night together."

Still confused I looked at her. "It seemed like it wasn't that special after all.", I shrugged as I could see her face turn red. "Maybe I can make you remember.", she said seductively. "Not now", I said before walking away. I walked further to notice the market stands. That's why it's been so crowded. "Let's see what we can find here"

People moved away, freeing the path in front of me as I continued to walk. Until I suddenly bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you."

The woman said before looking up at me. For a moment I couldn't speak. Her beauty took my breath away. It was something I haven't seen before in the mortal or immortal world. Her dark skin glowed as the sun beautifully kissed her face. Her upturned brown eyes looked back at me with the same expression I had on my face. My gaze slowly moved to her full lips. My focus slowly turned to her other features as I noticed her coily hair. It sharpened her beauty even more.

My eyes slowly scanned her entire figure. She had a slender body but her tall posture made her curvy build stand out even more.

"Sir?", she said confused as shifted uncomfortably. I quickly snapped out of it, regaining my senses. "Don't worry beautiful, what had you so captivated?", I asked.

She seemed hesitant but answered looking in the direction of a jewelry stand. "Oh nothing really, it was just the necklace that I saw."

Without thinking twice, I walked to the helper that stood by the stand. "Can I buy the necklace that the beautiful lady wanted?"

The woman stared at me, with her mouth slightly open. "Y-yes", she stuttered. All the while I could feel the unknown girl looking at me as if she seemed anxious. "Sorry, I can't accept that.", she said but I ignored her.

" Here, let me put this on for you. "

A soft smile spread on her face as she removed her hair giving me access to her neck. Her body stiffened as I got closer. "You don't have to do this", she said barely getting the words out. "Don't worry, this was made for you.", I said as I stepped back.

"Thank you for this, it means a lot .", she said with a bright smile. I could feel my heart skip a beat again as a smile spread on my face. "You don't have to thank me. A beautiful woman like you deserves to be treated."

I could see the flustered look on her face. "Thank you", she said hugging me. My body tensed up as I realized that she held me close. It felt weird because her smell was something I wasn't familiar with. She smelled sweet and soft, which was unusual because mortals had a specific smell that I despised. Seeing my frozen reaction, she quickly stepped back. "I didn't mean to invade your privacy.", she said.

"You don't have to apologize, I'm just not used to getting hugs", I said honestly. Embarrassed I looked away because didn't understand why I reacted so nervous in front of her. Her eyes search for something but her thoughts quickly faded as she looked behind me.

"It was nice meeting you but I have to go"
