Nyx

"The war is near", I said. We stared as we watched the last souls rush away. "What is happening?", Antheia asked. For the first time I couldn't answer, I've never seen this before. "I-I don't know", I stammered. "No, it's not possible.", Artemis breathed out .

"I've seen this somewhere. Do you have a library?", she asked hastily. I nodded as I walked them towards the library.

Artemis

As she showed me her library my mouth dropped open. I saw atleast several floors filled with books. "I know its not the right time to say this, but your collection is truly incredible", I uttered as I ran my fingers through the first bookcases I saw.

"Oh yeah , it's been a hobby of mine", Nyx answered awkwardly as she brushed her hands over her arms. I smiled seeing how nervous she was as I walked further into the hall of books. "It's gonna take forever to find what you are looking for.", Antheia murmured. "Don't worry, I don't mind.", I smiled. "There's somewhere I need to be, I will be back soon.", Nyx said as she left.

"So where will we start?"

"What just happened?", I thought to myself as I closed the library door behind me. My cheeks felt hot as I thought back to the compliment Artemis gave me. "Get a grip", I said to myself. For now I have to get to Hephaestus.

Meanwhile at the Olympian palace
Hephaestus

"Why am I even making this?", I thought to myself as I glanced back to letter. I have no idea whom I making this for but knowing from the letter they have a high status. I haven't seen someone use silver imprinted paper in almost more then a megaannum.

I got closer as I steadily carved the details into the  staff. It was importantly stated to use the 8 golden metals, which is even harder to form. Putting all my focus into the details, I numbed out the noises surrounding me until I heard the door open. I quickly changed my position as I looked towards the door. Aphrodite peaked out her head, "What are you working on?", she asked. "Just making a new blade", I answered. "Oh okay, well I wanted to ask if you've seen Ares? He hasn't been home for days now.", she asked. I shrugged my shoulders, "He's probably with Eris, I heard they had a moment.", I said. Anger showed itself for a split second before disappearing again. She plastered a fake smile as she left. I sighed in relief before turning around, feeling my heart drop.

My hands started to shake as I lowered my gaze before kneeling on the ground. My eyes glued there as I heard her steps approach me. She stood right next to me as she spoke. "Look me in the eyes Hephaestus"

Hearing that I slowly raised my gaze. There she stood with all her glory and power, Nyx.

His hands trembled in fear as he looked upon me. "It's a honour to meet you", he bowed. "You seem to know who I am", I said amused as I looked at his frame. "You are the first to ever walk this earth as an immortal, the one people should fear the most. Daughter of Chaos itself.".

"Stop, I came here for one thing my friend. How long will it take?", I said glancing at the staff. "It won't be long.", he reassured before resumed to his work. I watched him carefully as he engraved the last few details before smithing it again for the last time. As he finished he looked at me, "There's a war coming, isn't it?", he asked. I nodded before taking the weapon out of his hand. "My goddess, know that I will be on your side", he said lowering his gaze once again. I smiled kindly as I put the silver coin engraved with my signature in his hand. "I will call upon you when I need your help with this coin. Let this interaction be between us, if word comes out you will be the first to pay."
