Antheia

"So tomorrow?", he asked me unsure. "Y-Yeah tomorrow, and don't disappoint me or it will be the last time I accept your offer", I said walking away. I could feel his eyes lingering on me for a few seconds as I walked out of his sight.

The events of the past days replayed itself all over again. I could feel my body heat up as I recounted the kiss from yesterday. "Come on Antheia, stop being this way", I said to myself as my home came into sight. The candles were still on so that meant my mom was still awake or in the garden.

"My feet are killing me", I said as I took off my shoes before reaching out for the door when my mom suddenly came out with an basket of fruits and bread.
" Antheia, you scared the living soul out of me.", my mom gasped as she saw me. "Sorry mom, I didn't mean to", I said kissing her cheek. "Didn't you enjoy the party, why are you back so fast?", my mom asked me confused. I was about to say that I was away for two days but I quickly thought back to what Ares said.

"Time goes a lot faster here which means that down there on earth, maybe a few hours went by."

"How long have I been gone?", I questioned. "Not more than 4 hours", she said closing the door behind her. "Where are you going?", I asked. "Well I expected you to be away for much longer so I planned a date with Julius.", my mom said as a guilty look plastered on her face. "Enjoy yourself mom, it's okay", I said hugging her before waving her off.

I was about to enter the cabinet when I felt something move through the flowers surrounding the cabinet. I stood more in a stable position as I softly pressed my hands together, "Flowers, show me", I breathed out. I closed my eyes as I saw the vision of someone approaching me fast. Before they could touch I tightened my fist, trapping the intruder with their feet sinked into the ground as if they were standing on quicksand.

"Nice", I heard a familiar voice say. I quickly opened my eyes to see Nyx standing here. "H-How did you know where I lived?", I asked as she stood there slowly sinking away.

I knew exactly that she was in the ballroom with us from the moment she entered. I could not deny the change of atmosphere as I watched her carefully curious of what her next steps would be. She was quit bold to start dancing on the dance floor that long. It seemed like she was the only one being calm about it, because Ares soon dragged her out of the room as I could see Artemis looking fearful towards them.

I slowly left after her not letting anyone know I was there. Thinking that she would be in trouble, I left for her house but it seemed that Ares didn't take her home right away. Knowing how stubborn she is, I wondered how she would react on that. "I probably will have to wait here", I said as I guarded her home as my thoughts went back to the palace.

Flashback

"I find it quit funny that they don't know I was more than just a myth, a goddess that has never been seen but Zeus knew better and that's why he feared me", I thought to myself as I sat in my cave. I knew that nobody would come here besides the person I wanted to meet. This was the moment I've been waiting for my whole life. I've prepared myself for this moment. I will guide her to her full potential as I stand by her side through all of her decisions.

Glancing at the entrance, I could see that the butterflies left their hiding spots as they flew around indicating that someone entered. "Well look what we have here", I spoke out as I stepped into the view coming face to face to goddess Antheia. She seemed shocked as she stepped back, letting her mouth slowly gape open as she looked at me. She was pretty, and looked quite the same as me. She had the same dark skin, while her textured hair was slicked back into a beautiful low ponytail. Her white dress complimented her figure as I noticed that she was quite shorter than me but still taller than the average. I almost lost my composure as I saw the necklace she was wearing. "That necklace was from the first tribe goddess, how did she get her hands on that.", I thought to myself in shock. I could see the fear in her eyes as she knew that she was discovered but before she could say anything we heard many immortals approaching. "Come here", I hissed softly. Without second thought she followed me as I told her to hide. She quickly entered giving me enough space to join. "Cover me my friends", I said before the butterflies all covered the hiding place. I noticed that her fear started to rise again. I softly took her hand:

"Don't be scared, I know who you are."

We sat there in silence as the voice I recognized as Hera started to talk about her plans. That's when another voice spoke up making her whimper next to me. I quickly covered her mouth, slowly putting a finger on my mouth to signal her to be quiet. She seemed shocked as she heard as I soon came to know was Ares' voice. Her whole demeanor changed as her eyes showed disappointment. After the coast was clear, we went out as I introduced myself. She hesitated as she reached out her hand.

"If you don't mind me asking, how? And why would you be my ally?", she asked reluctantly. "Poor child, you truly don't know what's coming for you, do you? Don't worry I will show you.", I said putting the crystal between her both eyes.

Even though it was less than a few seconds. I knew it must be longer for her. It pained me to see her face twist in pain as she cried out a no. She started to beg as only pain consumed her mind. My heart sank as I felt something I haven't felt for a long time, grief.

End flashback

"Enjoy yourself mom, it's okay", I heard her voice say as she snapped me out of my thoughts. Her mom smiled as she hugged her before leaving. I slowly rises as she was about to enter a cabinet as she stopped dead in her tracks. She turned around and scanned the surrounding.

Let's see how she would attack.", I smirked before running full speed towards her. She whispered something as she fisted her hands. Shock overcame me as I was incapable of moving my legs, instead I was sinking away into the ground. "Nice", I smiled as she truly did surprised me.

"H-How did you know where I lived?"
