Artemis

"I took a big risk to take her here with me", I thought as I stood on the podium already regretting my choices. But somehow she didn't even seemed a little bit scared as she just stared blankly at the stars that hang above the room. Normally the stars were a little brighter but this year it seemed like it was dimmed down more which I was so thankful for. My nerve racking moment came as it was now my turn to present my title.

"I'm Artemis, the goddess of hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, the moon and chasity"

I stepped back as the tension was lifted from my shoulder. I knew that Hera always spoke after me and I tried to restrain myself from showing any emotion as she spoke her title. But I couldn't help to twitch as she said Antheia's name. She didn't deserve the title, because she didn't posses the power Antheia had. The power that the real Antheia possessed was something I couldn't describe. The way she could control it without even getting the knowledge that she needed to use her powers. I cant imagine how powerful she must be if she has that. I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts as I felt Apollo's hand grab mine. We all bowed in union before walking off the stage.

"Artemis what's going on?", Apollo asked as he pulled me towards Ares. "Nothing, why do you ask?", I said confused. "You froze on stage, you were supposed to grab our hand but you didn't.", he answered my question. "Well I was just lost in thoughts.", I said softly releasing my hand from his. " I need to go", I added before leaving towards Antheia. But before I could actually leave I was stopped by Ares.

"What's going on? Is everything okay?", he asked with concern displayed on his face. I sighed as Antheia's warnings escape my head. "Yeah", I smiled gently. "Come on, let's dance", he then said grabbing my hand. I smiled as he dragged me to the dancefloor dancing to the rhythm as the music went. That's when the music started to speed up to the song I knew to well. The people on the dancefloor started to search for a partner as the song proceeded. The women and the men stood opposite from each other as we slowly approached our male partner.

"Don't ruin it, Artemis", Ares said. "You shouldn't have said that, now I will stand on your foot", I clapped back with a smirk on my face. We started to dance swiftly over the floor as he spinned me around. "Well you've gotten better", he said as the last spin came around before we would change partners. "What can I say I am a fast learner", I said before he spinned me towards someone else. I took the hand of my next partner to see that it was Apollo.
"Brother, who was you previous partner? Could she dance well?", I asked. He nodded, "She was the best one I ever had so far, she's a quick learner". I quickly followed his eyes as I saw who he was looking at.

"Oh no"

Antheia

I stood there as I watched Artemis walk on the dancefloor with Ares. I could see her sisterly love she had for him as I saw that he also had that brotherly love for her. It somehow made me feel uneasy to see that he can be more than just a god of war, more than just someone that is surrounded with death and pain.

"May you want to dance with me", a voice said that made me turn around. I quickly turned around to see the man that I yet still not knew the name off. As if he saw the unsure look on my face he chuckled. "I apologize, I didn't introduce myself. I am Apollo, the twin of Artemis", he said extending his hand. As I took his hand, he stood there blankly before whispering something I couldn't quit hear. "Excuse me, I didn't understand that", I said. "Well that's a shame", he smirked. I rolled my eyes by that comment. "Well do you want to dance?", he said. "Won't they see me?", I asked concerned.

"Don't you worry, I have the feeling we will have a fun time together.", he said as he walked me towards the dance floor. "I can't, what if someone spots me. I don't even know the dance", I said trying to escape his grasp. " Just follow my lead", he said as he slowly places his arms around my waist. "Put your arms on my shoulder, and slowly move with the rhythm. If I spin I will tap your waist twice, it means that you will grab the side of your dress to spin around with one hand towards your next partner", he said. I nodded and followed his lead. As the rhythm started to speed up, I swayed my hips following the movement. Just for a second I forgot that I was surrounded by immortals. Apollo looked at me intensely before speaking.

"Well flower, tell me something about yourself", he said. I rolled my eyes as I heard his nickname for me, "What's up with the nicknames", I asked. "It seems the suit you", he said shrugging. "Well Ehm, there's not really much to tell about myself besides my name", I said.

"Well I don't totally believe that", he said before tapping my waist. I did as he told me, I took my hands twirling around to my next partner.

Ares

As I took my partners hand, I knew exactly who it was without even looking towards her. My hands pulled her body closer to mine as I looked down. She looked up at me with wide eyes. "Well little wallflower, who would have thought that I would be dancing with you right now", I said with a taunting tone in my voice.

"Well, I most definitely wouldn't have thought that", she remarked back. I chuckled lowly, making her break the eyecontact. I took my hand to turn her face back to mine. "What's the matter, are you getting shy?", I asked as I could see that her eyes slowly were looking at my lips. She shot them back towards my eyes as she realized what she was doing before placing her hand on my chest. "No, not at all", she said taking me by surprise. Her hands slowly started to roam down before stopping right above my pants. I could feel my heartbeat quicken as she didn't break any eyecontact. I slowly started to forget that we were in a room full of people as I was just focused on her. She slowly inched closer to me pressing her body against mine. She stood on her toes as she inches her face closer to mine. I could feel my palms getting sweaty as her lips barely touched mine. She stared intensely at me before retrieving back to her position.

"What's the matter, are you getting shy?", she clapped back using my words. I quickly looked away from her, still feeling the intense feeling I felt before. It was time to switch but there was no way I would end the moment. As I could feel the ending approach I looked at her supposed to be next partner to continue with the same person. "Yes", I replied back. She smiled as she stepped closer to me. "Let's focus on the dance now", she said as she placed her both arms on my shoulders.

She is something else, I thought to myself as she really had me under her spell. I swiftly danced with her on the dance floor as the music went on. "You are quit a good of an dancer", I remarked as she danced perfectly to the rhythm. She smirked, "What I can say I'm a fast learner".

I chuckled glancing away from her when my eyes met my mothers eyes. I could see the intense stare she was sending Antheia. Knowing that my mother acknowledged her was something that send sparks through my body.

"We need to go, you are about to be discovered"
