Chapter 25

Decision

Since our plan has finally succeeded although Juan still looks a bit conflicted, she was taken by He Yan and discussed her plans for me.

"Mrs. Xu, I don't think it's right-"

"You don't need to worry and if it wasn't for your child my son wouldn't be saved" her eyes darkened as she continued. "Perhaps he would've been sold to another family and got his legs lame by those criminals"

Juan felt cold, she remembered hearing the police officers talking about the poor kids who got their legs broken for profit. Her JuJu, her precious JuJu could have experienced that if she didn't listen to her child.

"Even so, our home is here and I still have my work" She felt greatly troubled by it, she got fired from her second job as a janitress for being late a couple of times.

She can't just quit her job and face the capital with her young child. She doesn't think shell get a job that would accept her, a mother with no high school diploma.

"You can work as my child's nanny along with JuJu, Ruo Ruo likes JuJu, and they both experienced a terrible thing so they would connect much more" He Yan also has her ideas for letting JuJu with her child.

JuJu is a very clever child who can calmly face a dangerous situation and have the skill to get out of it. She doesn't know how but she wants her child to be like her. She cannot let her child experience this once more and for him to listen and truly comprehend his situation, he needs a friend to teach him.

His friend who experienced the same as his would connect to what he's thinking now and probably lessen the trauma that he could get.

"I'll think about it first, thank you, Mrs. Xu"

It's her child's future and she can not just decide it this quick, she needs to know her child's opinion and the pros and cons of going to the capital.

Meanwhile, JuJu and Xiao Ruo went outside after getting permission from our mothers. Of course, we wouldn't get away that easily and got a train of well-built men guarding us in the back.

For our plan, I decided to give him a tour of this place since I'll be leaving this neighborhood soon.

"This is the place where we first met!"

I look at where Xiao Ruo's is pointing his hand and saw the playground. Yeah, I remember face slapping that maid-looking woman of yours.

"I waited here for a long time but you didn't come" he pouted while I snicker in my head.

Why would I go here and play with you? It was just a momentary impulse of becoming a hero at that moment and here I thought I'll never cat that way again. 

If I wasn't holding your golden thighs I wouldn't have saved you and look how the fates had played me. Tsk.

"Sorry gege, I was with my mommy, she's working on a hotpot diner so I couldn't come to see you" I excused since it was also half the truth, on the other hand, I could leave but I didn't cause I have so many plans to do. 

"It's fine! We'll meet each other again after you live in the same place with me!"

"That's great gege!" I clapped my hands and we continued to tour around this run-down place.

In my head, I'll be living in a big apartment much better than our last place and not in someone else's mansion.
