Chapter 29

Gratification 

Seeing that the two children had left the room, the adults decided to continue their conversation.

"You have two days off on weekends and the rest is your workday. From 8 in the morning to 9 in the evening, JuJu is welcome here and your salary is between 15,000 RMB plus free accommodation and food" He Yan straightforwardly said with ease making Juan's eyes widen from her words.

"It's a bit too much" she couldn't help but mutter, still unused at the benefits that were given to them.

It felt like they were taking advantage of their family and it's an uncomfortable feeling for Juan. All her life she has never depended on someone after experiencing that moment. She took an oath that shell never depends on someone again especially on a man.

"It's what we've always given to our employees so you don't have to worry" Wu Rong Heng, husband of He Yan and father of Wu Ruo Xi stated.

"I've already told you about JuJu's education, we will support it until she finishes her education"

"Thank you, Madam!"

At this moment, all her thoughts were about doing her best and giving all her strength to this opportunity given to her.

"Just call me Mrs. Wu" she nodded and the rest of them had some small chats and decided to plan where their children would attend school.

Meanwhile, one naive little dog and one grumpy little adult was out touring the naive dog's territory. The naive dog was proudly flaunting his toys to her like a peacock while the little adult has her mind on her plans.

"Look! I have so many cars JuJu but don't worry, I can let you borrow them!"

His little legs kicked into a run and gathered a variety of cars, each varies in color and size.

"Here!" He handed me a firetruck car while I look at him in speechlessness. Does he think I'll like it? I mean no offense a child could have any toy she wants whether it's a doll or a car but I'm not a kid!

"Thanks" I can only bite the bullet and take it from his chubby hands.

Looking at his room, I can see that he's a pampered young master just by the size of the room and the furniture and toys that are placed in here.

"Young master, should you and your friend be interested in going to the garden?" Butler Shao came to the rescue, thank goodness I don't have to stay in this room anymore.

"Let's go Xiao Ruo!" I held his hand and was about to go leave the room when I realize that this is not my house and that I don't even know where the garden is.

I look at Butler Shao and he smiled at us before turning in another direction and eventually, we reached the garden.

Dang, it does scream money huh? It felt like you were in the garden of the royal palace. Fountains and statues, a luxurious gazebo and a long wooden swing seat on the side, and lastly, a small garden maze was seen.  Countless types of flowers and small plants were planted in this humongous garden.

I approve of this estate, they really went all out on designing their house, or should I say castle.

The two of us sat on the swing while Butler Shao gently pushed us earning a few squeals from the two of us.

Sigh, it's like I'm living in my old home again, just the smell of this luxurious place really makes you feel jealous.

"Ruo Ruo you're he- what are you doing here?!" I felt a screeching voice from us and opened my eyes to see a familiar person.

Oh, it's the maid-looking girl huh.

"Cousin, this is JuJu! My best friend and my savior!"

"What?!"
