Chapter 62

Lost

I didn't know what happened after I was told to go into our room. I couldn't hear see anything, I do want to go out but then realize Juan's emotion today. I don't think I'll be able to succeed going out of my room and sneak up on them so I just waited.

Besides, I would still know who the person is if Juan did let that person come inside our house since I installed a small camera facing the living room. I have many cameras installed but those are not known by Juan. I installed it a few months ago, I bought those with the help of Xiao Ruo, my golden thigh naive dog.

Soon, the door opened and I sat obediently in front of my mother. Her eyes were red and her overall mood was dark and unhappy.

"Mommy? Are you alright?" I ran up to her and tugged her sleeves.

"Mommy's fine, don't worry JuJu. Also, mommy is sorry for shouting at you, can you forgive mommy?" Her eyes held regret and the pain beneath those eyes muddied her clear eyes.

"I forgive mommy!" I even kiss her on her cheek and beam a smile at her.

"Thank you JuJu" she kissed my forehead and offered a smile albeit wan and little.

She held me in her arms and combed my hair after we got to the living room.

I could feel her mood changed, it's a bit restricting and uneasy, and I still don't know who that person is that made her like this.

"JuJu, you asked for dad right?" She suddenly says which made my ears rang.

Father, it's him, isn't it?

"Is daddy back?!" I went along the act and climbed on her chest, my eyes twinkling in curiosity.

Yep, no need to watch the secret hidden camera now, the secrets already out.

"Dad is back, he was lost before that's why he couldn't return home" she explained though if I was a real child, I would have felt that my wishes did come true but all along it was just the situations that lead them to be apart.

Which child doesn't want to have a complete family? To have a father to protect them, to put them in their necks and hug them with their strong arms? Who doesn't like to see their father pampering and protecting them?

If I was really JuJu then I would have felt grievous over this unfair situation.

"Where is daddy now? Will he come back?!" I asked, I still haven't forgotten my goal. I need them to have a happy ending so that I will be reborn into another body, I much prefer a young rich lady's body.

"Yes, daddy will come and see you this Saturday" Saturday? It's just Tuesday today! Does it mean I have to wait for four days to arrive before seeing him?!

Maybe two days is enough, u still haven't gotten the fact that I'll meet him this soon and have my goals already finished in half.

Just the thought of seeing the person that I loved back then made me feel a bit nostalgic but then seeing him in this form, his daughter brings me so much uncomfortableness.

It's awkward and I feel like I want to cringe so hard just remembering the actions that I have done in my previous lives when seeing him.

"Aw! It's too long!" I pouted, my earlier unhappy mood was washed off when reality hits me in the face.

Yep, I need some time, like a lot of time.

"Well then, let's first chose a dress for you okay? Make you a pretty princess so when daddy meets you, he will be amazed at your beauty!" Juan coaxed and I can only giggle unwillingly, I don't think I wanted to meet him in this form but it's also worse to meet him as his rotten peach blossom in the past which is the parallel world.

Even so, Juan thought that she finally get my mind off of it and decided to be me some sweets and chose a dress for our upcoming meeting.

Oh boy, I really want to know what would happen on Saturday.
