Max: Jace!

I picked him up and carried him inside the house

Jace: Mommy doesn't want me anymore

A wave of anger went through me and Billie came downstairs with a robe on and jace got down from my arms and ran to Billie she hugged him tightly and they went upstairs to his bedroom i went up there after a bit and i heard Billie singing

Billie: Wake up and smell the coffee is your cup half full or empty when we talk you say it softly

She continued singing and i walked into the room and i sat beside her and put my arm over her shoulder she leaned into me and i kissed her cheek i looked at jace and he was asleep we both got up and went back to my bedroom

Max: Im putting him in private school far away from her and closer to me

We laid down and Billie climbed onto my waist

Billie: Like one of those rich ones

Max: Maybe just to keep him safe i don't want him to go back there honestly literally he's 5 and he shouldn't be going through this shit

I felt the bed moving

Jace: Mama wake up

He tapped my face and i opened my eyes

He went over to Billie and tapped her face

They both got up and went to the bathroom i got up and went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and kissed Billie
