Hyungwon froze when Hoseok asked him this question. Fortunately, he had already finished eating, otherwise he probably would have choked so badly that he would have died. Hoseok was at least as shocked by his own words as Hyungwon was. The two stared at each other motionless with panic written on their faces. Neither of them could get a word out of their mouths.
"I don't think I should do this-" Hyungwon said with a sad undertone. He would like to do it, but not under these circumstances. Not when Hoseok doesn't want to, not when Hoseok doesn't like him. "We should go to sleep now, tomorrow is a long day for both of us." the younger said as he put his plate in the sink.
Hoseok was still transfixed at the table, watching the other leave the scene. Why did he ask that dumb and rude question? Does Hyungwon now think he was messing with him? Why didn't he want to touch Hoseok? Does he not find him attractive anymore? And why did he want to be touched by Hyungwon? Thousands of questions buzz through Hoseok's head but he couldn't find an answer to any of them.
"I'll put towels, a pair of pajamas and a toothbrush in the bathroom. Just help yourself to whatever you need. You can use anything." the young man said as he stuck his head out of the bathroom again before closing the door behind him.
Hyungwon took about 20 minutes in the bathroom. When he came out, he was wearing loose pajama pants without a t-shirt. He was drying his black hair with a towel. Hoseok was still sitting at the dinner table. He didn't touch the rest of his food. He was lost in thought about whether what he said might have hurt Hyungwon. He was so determined not to hurt the younger man but he managed to hurt him again.
"I'm going to get some sleep. If you need anything, feel free to come into my room and wake me up." the tall man said and disappeared into his bedroom, where Jooheon and Changkyun had slept together the night before. He closed the door, lay down in bed, covered himself up and looked at his phone one last time before sleeping.
