Something tickled the sleeping man's nose and slowly woke him up. He wrinkled his nose several times and tried to avoid the tickling, but without success. When he tried to open his eyes, he noticed how swollen they were. He had to strain to see through the swollen skin.

All he saw were many different colours. "Hyungwon?" the man whispered in a weak voice. He tried to adjust his eyes to see the object in front of him. It was a bouquet of flowers. He was hugging it tight.

Slowly but surely the events of last night came back into his head and made him wince. He wished he could have had the illusion, at least for a few seconds, that he had only dreamed last night's events. But it was too painful and too real to have been a dream.

He squeezed the bouquet tightly so that the paper rustled. Desperately, he tried to suppress the tears that were welling up. His eyes were already swollen enough. "Hoseok? are you awake?" a soft voice asked.

Hoseok turned to the side and tried to make out the person through his tears-blurred vision. He saw Moonbin, one of his best friends, kneeling beside him at the bedside. No matter how shitty the last day had been, it warmed his heart to know that Moonbin was with him.

"How are you? Do you need anything? You should drink something, you were crying in your sleep all night." Moonbin sounded sad and tired, but tried not to let on that he had been awake all night trying to calm Hoseok in his sleep. "mhhh-" Hoseok wanted to give an answer but realised that his throat was also swollen from crying so much.

"You don't have to say anything. Here, have a drink." Moonbin stroked his head before helping the older man sit up to take a drink. Hoseok felt like a wreck. A wreck that sank into the deep sea thousands of years ago. He choked a few times as he let the water run down his dry and swollen throat.

"Thank you-" the older man squeezed out of his throat, the bouquet of flowers still clutched tightly in one of his hands. "Hyungwon gave you a very nice bouquet." Moonbin tried to strike up a conversation. Hoseok smiled sadly at the flowers and then looked up at Moonbin.

"Yes." Hoseok knew he owed his friend an explanation for what happened. "I was kicked out of my flat because I couldn't pay my rent on my own. I don't have a home anymore." Hoseok croaked the words as if all the dignity he had lost came up with them.

"You know we are always here for you. You can stay with one of us for as long as you want." Moonbin tried to cheer him up but knew how Hoseok must feel. "I'll make breakfast for you, ok? Head high Seokkie, everyone has to see your pretty face." the taller of the two said after he stopped stroking Hoseok's back.

"Minhyuk? Hey- um- you're the only one in our circle of friends who has contact with Hyungwon's friends. So- um- can you give me Hyungwon's number?" After a moment's hesitation, Minhyuk answered his friend's whimsical request. "Why do you need Hyungwon's number?"

Is Moonbin allowed to say that? "I wanted to ask him when we could play the piano together." the younger lied. He didn't want Minhyuk to worry about Hoseok. "Ah, Ok. I'll send you his number via kakao. Ah yes by the way- um- have you heard anything from Hoseok? Hyungwon completely escalated yesterday because Hoseok didn't answer him. Kihyun Hyunwoo and me tried to calm him down but I'm a little worried about Seokkie-" Mihyuk's voice sounded concerned.

"Hyungwon was so worried about Seokkie and somehow I have a bad feeling. No one can reach him. He turned off his phone, he never does that. And he's not at home either." Minyhuk's concern was great.

"He's here with me. He spent the night at my place tonight." the younger one replied shortly. "Is he all right? Why is he spending the night at your place?" "No, he is not well. That is why I need Hyungwon's number. Please send it to me as soon as possible and please be careful what you write to Hoseok. He was crying all night. Don't make him cry again with one of your dumb messages-"
