Izuku silently made his way to Principal Nezu's office. Every time he passed a class he would peek through the window to see which pro hero was teaching. It was exciting to see so many of his idols in real life. When he finally arrived he stopped and took a deep breath in front of the door.
Izuku couldn't help but be nervous. Not only was this the principal of U.A. This was one of the, if not THE, most intelligent beings in the world. And he wanted to discuss who knows what with quirkless Izuku Midoriya.
Right as Izuku was about to knock, the door was opened. Principal Nezu beamed up at Izuku and he couldn't help but smile back at him.
"Hello Midoriya! It's good to see you again. I hope you have been enjoying your first day," the principal said as he led Izuku into his office. Izuku followed him to a blue couch in the corner of the office as the principal began pouring them some tea.
"Of course! U.A. is amazing. It's so much more than I could have imagined," Izuku said excitedly. He quickly stopped himself there before he began mumbling about all the things he still wanted to see on the school grounds.
"Glad to hear. I was also very excited to hear from Thirteen that you have quite the talent in hero analysis," Nezu said as he handed Izuku his cup. Izuku blushed fiercely, embarrassed by the compliment.
"I-I wouldn't say talent! Really! It's just a hobby I've had since I was a kid," Izuku rushed, flustered.
"The most common hobbies in children involve a sport or a form of art," Nezu stated. "It is very rare for the average child's hobby to be analysis." Izuku blushed even more.
"Yeah..."
"But that is not a bad thing! I am very curious as to what you have written in your books. May I ask how many you have?" Nezu asked, leaning slightly closer to Izuku.
"W-well I have 13 notebooks on Hero/Quirk Analysis' and I just started my 6th notebook for support ideas," Izuku stated as he rubbed the back of his neck.
Was that a lot?
"Fascinating," Nezu beamed. "Do you have any with you?" Izuku opened his backpack and handed the two latest notebooks to his principal. Nezu beamed as he read through the books' contents.
As they went through the books Nezu asked Izuku various questions about his train of thought and where he got certain ideas from. Izuku was quick to realize that Nezu could keep up quite easily to Izuku's rambling and the two of them spoke much faster than anyone else in a normal conversation. He was sure that if someone were to come in on them they would be rather confused to hear their rushed words spill into the air.
Their conversation was interrupted when Izuku's phone began buzzing. He looked down to see Bakugo was calling him.
"Bakugo? If I recall correctly, he is currently in heroics with All Might," Nezu said as he took a glance at Izuku's phone. "Go ahead and answer."
Izuku slid the answer button and brought the phone to his ear.
"Hello?"
"Oi, nerd! I need you to come down to gym Beta!" Bakugo yelled through the phone.
"-Why?"
"One of my IDIOT classmates pulled the pins on my grenades! I need you to come reset them before it's my turn in the drill. Now hurry it up!"
Izuku didn't get the chance to answer as Bakugo ended the call.
"Kacchan needs me to reset his support items, is that okay?" Izuku asked as he looked to the principal. Nezu smiled up at him and nodded.
