Izuku understood why All Might was afraid of Gran Torino. While he never hit Izuku, Izuku had watched Gran repeatedly smack All Might on the head with a cane for answering one of his questions incorrectly. Izuku wasn't sure why All Might stayed, maybe out of fear of getting hit with a cane for doing otherwise, but he did.
The three stayed in the teacher's lounge for the rest of the period. Gran Torino went over the steps one should go through when they arrive on the scene, depending on whether other people were already there or not. He had used Snipe, Midnight and All Might to jump questions off of, All Might being the only one to get a few wrong, while also giving Izuku a few of the simpler questions.
"Honestly, Toshinori!" Gran screamed at the man. "What kind of Symbol of Peace, Number One Hero, doesn't know how far away from a burning building you should escort civilians!" All Might was now in his small form and Izuku was getting used to calling him Mr. Yagi. He realized that if he ever saw All Might in the hallways or even outside of school it would be very bad to call him by his hero name.
"S-sorry sir," Mr. Yagi muttered quietly.
"You didn't answer my question!"
"A-a bad one, sir."
"Damn right!" Gran turned to Izuku and Izuku sat up straighter at his teacher's attention. "Don't follow in his footsteps, boy. He's an idiot."
"Yes, Sensei!" Izuku replied. Gran seemed to not mind him calling him Sensei. He had tried calling him by his hero name, but it made his fanboy self rise and he didn't want to burst into a mumbling mess. He considered asking for his civilian name, but he didn't want to overstep either.
"Well, it's 10:27. You might as well get a head start on your way to your next class. Good job today, kid." Gran said as he stood from the couch. "I'll see you tomorrow. We'll stay in the conference room and go over how to investigate a crime scene."
"Yes sir! Thank you sir!" Izuku watched Gran leave before turning to watch All Might loosen in place. Though his calmness was short-lived.
"Toshinori! What kind of student doesn't escort his old teacher out!" Gran yelled, his head peeking into the lounge. All might was muscled up and rushing to escort his old teacher, apologizing profusely for his rudeness. Once the two were finally gone, Izuku shared a laugh with Midnight and Snipe who also seemed to be holding in their amusement.
"What a guy," Midnight said from her seat, still giggling. "Have fun in English, Midoriya! Don't forget we'll be drawing heroes in action later today!"
"Really?!? Are we allowed to draw their quirks this time?" Izuku asked excitedly. Midnight shook her head, a large smile on her face as she shooed him away. The bell rang as Izuku walked down the hallways. When he arrived at class Present Mic was just opening the door, a large smile on his face like always.
"Hey, little listener! How were your new classes?" he asked as he let Izuku in. Ectoplasm smiled at him from where he was packing his bag and he returned it with a wave.
"It went really well. I think I'm gonna really like my new schedule." Izuku responded before taking his seat. Mei sent him a small smile while Present Mic started to write the three different versions of 'there'. Izuku hated how there were three ways to spell one word depending on the meaning. But he supposed some people had the same issues when learning Japanese.

When school was finally over, Izuku made his way over to the first year boys change room. When he arrived he noticed Shinso already changing and joined him, making sure he was a comfortable amount of lockers away from the boy. He quickly grabbed his uniform and began trying to untie the atrocious tie around his neck.
