Chapter 23

All Might sighed next to him and Izuku lowered his head, staring down at his lap.

"You aren't in any trouble, Midoriya." Izuku looked up at All Might. There was nothing in his face showing that he was lying and Izuku released his sleeves slightly. "I knew that I wouldn't be able to hide my small form forever. I just hope that you can keep this a secret."

Izuku nodded frantically. "O-of course! I-I swear All M-Might! I haven't told anyone and I don't plan too!" Izuku rushed out.

"Calm down, Young Midoriya," All Might said, putting his hand on Izuku's shoulder. Izuku stared at the hand, relaxing a bit on the outside, but freaking out on the inside.

All Might's hand is on my shoulder. All Might's hand is on my shoulder. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh.

"Midoriya," Nedzu said, breaking Izuku away from his fanboying thoughts. "Thank you for keeping this under wraps. I know this must be a very heavy secret to hold."

It had been. Izuku wanted to ask so many questions about All Might's small form, but refused to let them out.

The more I know... the more secret's I carry.

"I also wanted to say that I am very happy you are alright," Nedzu continued. "You gave us quite the scare when you passed out!"

"You're telling me," Izuku breathed. "My mother is scary when she scolds me about forgetting to pick up my towel after a shower. She's even scarier when she scolds you while crying!" All Might laughed beside him and Izuku gave him a small smile.

"I can't imagine Inko being scary," All Might stated. Izuku's smile turned devious.

"If you want, I can show you!" Turning to Nedzu, Izuku didn't let his smile drop. "Call her and tell her you caught All Might helping me cheat on a test. She'll be down here in minutes! I'll hide in the closet so you can get the majority of the heat first when she arrives, All Might."

Izuku knew Nedzu would play along to mess with All Might and he was right as the mammal picked up his phone.

"I'm on it!"

"No! That's not necessary! I believe you, I believe you!" All Might rushed, helping Nedzu put the phone back. Izuku and Nedzu both shared a small chuckle and All Might kept looking from one to the other. "I'm starting to think having you two together is a bad idea."

"Nonsense! Midoriya and I are quite the team! With my mentoring and Midoriya's natural intelligence, we can do great things." Nedzu said happily as he leaned forward on his desk. Izuku smiled at his principal.

Looking over to All Might, Izuku saw an expression of pure horror on the number one hero's face. Izuku did his best, but laughter escaped his mouth at seeing All Might afraid of something so small.

"Oh!" Nedzu exclaims out of the blue. Looking back over to Izuku, he put his hands together. "I hope you don't mind me asking, and you certainly don't have to tell me the details, but how did your meeting with Hound Dog go? Do you believe it will help?" Izuku smiled.

The teachers here really are amazing.

"It went really well," Izuku said with an honest smile. "He helped me realize some things I hadn't thought of." Suddenly, Izuku remembered the book he still had in his bag. "Oh! Actually, you reminded me of something I was gonna ask you."

Izuku reached into his bag, looking for the Hero Agency Occupations book Hound Dog had given him.

"Do you want me to leave for this, Young Midoriya?" All Might asked from next to him.
