Y/n was a mermaid her sister was Niki, Y/n liked to explore on her own and didn't tell Niki where she was going half of the time.

Y/n found a place that was big, she saw Sapnap, George, Ranboo and Karl by it, she knew Sapnap, he use to come by the water to talk to Y/n but soon stopped. She got closer to the shore, she sat on top of a big rock, she didn't really meet Karl or Ranboo, Ranboo couldn't come to the water and Karl was always busy.

"Woah?!" Karl said as he looked at Y/n sitting on the rock. "Who is that?" Sapnap stood next to him looking at Y/n too.

"Oh that's Y/n," Sapnap said bluntly.

"Y/n..? She's beautiful..." Karl was in a daze looking at Y/n, his mouth hung open and Sapnap closed it.

"YO Y/N!" Sapnap called, Y/n's head perked up and saw him waving her over. She jumped into the water and swam closer to shore, she sprung up slashing the water. Ranboo teleported inside the big building away for the water. She put her arms on the grass as she looked up at the boys who were looking down on her.

"Hello Sapnap, long time no see," she said giggling as she was swooshing her tail back and forth in the water.

"Oh you two know each other?" Karl asked.

"Yeah, I use to come by the water and talk to her from time to time."

"Well...I'm Karl," he said bending down with his hand out. Y/n put her hand out shaking his hand.

"Can you come up on shore or do you need a potion?"

"I usually stay in the water..? I've never tried using a potion before? Do you have any?"

"I don't have any but I bet it's in a book somewhere...Sap, can you bring her inside and place her in the tank."

"Sure," Sapnap rolled up his pants and picked up Y/n bring her inside a huge tank full of different fish.

She leaned on the side of the big tank seeing Karl scatter around looking for something. Y/n was kinda confused, potions for turning a mermaid into a human being was impossible and was very dangerous even if he found it.

Y/n looked at Ranboo who was shaking looking at her. Y/n wasn't that mean she wasn't going to hurt Ranboo.

She leaned back into the tank letting the water mess with her hair and the fish giving her small little nibbles on her skin. She giggled at the feeling. She then looked outside the tank to see Karl with his face pressed against the glass almost scaring her.

"K-Karl?!"

"Sorry, I was examining," he said walking away.

"Examining?"

"To see what species of mermaid you are."

"Species?"

"Yes and you are a red tail," he said as Y/n looked at her tail. She leaned back over the edge.

"Then...what about my sister Niki?"

"Doesn't she have a like green tail?"

"Yes and it fades into a lovely light pink."

"She's an orchid mermaid, not rare but she's special like you," he said looking through his books on mermaids.

"Nothing...I can't find anything on potions for mermaids to turn human..." he said as he slid down the tank. The other guys left so it was Karl and Y/n just in his library. Y/n went back down in the tank she placed her hands on the glass as Karl ran his hand through his dark brown hair.

"Karl, I don't need a potion...the ocean may be big but to be honest I'd like to be here in the tank helping and watching you."

"But you should walk on land not have to swim constantly don't you want to walk on land?" He asked looking back at her, he placed his hands on the glass over hers Karl's face was pink while looking at her, Y/n noticed and her face soon grew pink too. She swam up and Karl stood up, they soon broke eye contact when Sapnap and George walked back in with food in their hands. Y/n swam to the bottom at the sand as the fish tickled her again.

"Here Karl, Y/n I don't know what you eat sooo~ we went to go see Puffy, she makes the best fruit salads," George said as he placed the bowl on the edge and Y/n took it.

"Is it because I'm part fish and you guys think I eat veggies?"

"You don't?"

"We eat like you guys do, I mean I'll eat the fruit, don't get me wrong I love it," she said as she grabbed a strawberry and took a bite out of it.

~Time Skip~
Y/n was slowly getting sleepy, she would try to force her eyes open but they would soon close again.

"Y/n if you are tired you can go to sleep."

"But what if you find a potion and you need me awake-"

"Don't worry it'll probably be so long till I find one," he put his hand on her cheek and stroke her cheek with his thumb. He didn't hesitate he kissed her lips, she kissed back, Karl pulled away first and Y/n fell on the soft sand admiring Karl outside her tank, her face all warm, her skin burning for his touch, she closed her eyes finally falling asleep.
