Punz has a brown poodle named Teddy, but Punz was going to be out of town for a while, he was going to let his girlfriend of 3 years watch Teddy while he was gone.

Punz/Luke had everything he needed in his car and was ready to head out, he walked to Y/n who was standing next to Teddy.

"Everything he needs is on the counter-"

"Luke, it's okay, I got him, I've been around him too, I know what to do."

"Promise?"

"Promise, now get going you could be late," she said hurrying him to his car.

"Alright, alright," he pecked her lips and petted Teddys head and drove off.

Y/n brought Teddy inside and gave him, his food for today. Y/n had some school to check up on (you're in college) she set her laptop on her lap as Teddy was eating.

She started on a typing her new essay since the last one accidentally didn't save so she had to restart.

~Time Skip~
Teddy was done eating and was walking around the house trying to find a place to sleep. Y/n was still working on her essay, but jumped hearing Teddys loud barking.

*WOOF*

She looked towards him seeing he was standing by one of the windows that faced the porch and kept barking.

"Teddy," she called, he looked back and started to whine, he was missing Punz.

"Teddy, come here," she called again he ran to her and jumped on the couch, he rested his head on her lap when Y/n got an idea, she gently moved Teddys head and went to Luke's closet. She grabbed a grey hoodie and put it on, she went back to the couch and Teddy cuddled up to Y/n, she grabbed her phone and took a picture of her and Teddy and sent it to Luke.

^I think, he misses you^

^Aww my boy, I miss him too and you too of course^

She smiled and petted Teddys head.

~Time Skip~
Y/n gave Teddy his dinner, she was getting for bed, Y/n pulled back the covers and was getting ready putting on one of Luke's shirts and some shorts, Teddy walked in and claimed his spot to sleep on. She smiled and she brushed her teeth. She laid down next to Teddy and petted his side as she fell asleep.

||Next Morning||
Teddy sat up and stretched and shook his fur. He licked Y/n's cheek waking her up, she stretched her arms and hugged Teddy as he laid down on her chest.

"I'll get your food and let you out soon Teddy," she said as Teddy moved off her and she got up and Teddy followed, she opened the door and let him out. Y/n got Teddys bowl and put some food in it along with some of his medicine.

"Teddy!" He came running in the house and was sitting waiting by the counter as Y/n placed it down for him to have.

She was on the couch texting Punz and sent him updates about Teddy to him and would send him some pictures of Teddy to him too.

Y/n had Teddys leash in her hands, she leashed Teddy and was taking him on a walk. She sent Punz an update that they were going on a walk.

Teddy was sitting on the sidewalk next to Y/n who was drinking water and gave some to Teddy to stay hydrated.

"A little more Teddy then we can go home," she said as Teddy looked at her and was just panting.

||2 days later||
Punz was coming back and Y/n was excited to see him and Teddy felt like he knew his dad was coming back.

They both heard a door slam shut, Teddy barked and Y/n ran to the door opening it letting Teddy go get Luke. Teddy jumped to get Luke's attention.

"OH my boy!" He called as Y/n went to them.

"Welcome back."

"Thank you," he kissed her temple and they both grabbed his bags and went back inside to do some catching up on Luke's small vacation.
