The Beginning of The Mafia

I walked into the large dining room that felt like it was from those stories about royalty. There was a big and long mahogany table that could seat up to about thirty people in the middle of the room. The boss sits at the head of the table while everyone else except guards and me sits on the sides of the table.

I stand at the boss's side at all times and am not to leave for any reason. Unless he tells me otherwise of course though that hasn't happened for some time. The last time was about a year ago when some men came over to discuss something about me. He told me to leave and go with Nana that I wasn't needed at the moment.

The dinner begins with the maids bringing in the plates of food. Everyone at the table started introducing themselves. The leader of Black Spade's name is Gavriil Gray, which Gray isn't his real last name but a cover for his family name. He is 20 years old quite young for him to be the leader of a gang.

The Black Spades are from Minot, North Dakota close to Canada. He has one small sister about my age, no parents, single, and is originally from Russia. He was sent here by his family when a rival gang killed them. He is seeking revenge for them to kill the gang one day and is protecting his little sister for their parent's sake.

Now on to the leader of Free Souls who are sitting opposite Gavriil. His name is Amell König, he is from Germany. The gang Free Souls is in Germany but has been good friends with the boss' family for years. Amell is 27 years old, 2 years older than the boss actually, they knew each other for a long time since they were younger I think.

Amell has a wife and two kids twins in fact. One is a girl with blonde hair and pretty green eyes like her mom and the other twin is a boy with dark brown hair and dark green eyes a mix of both parents. He actually let me see a picture of them one time when he was over for a meeting. He is very nice to me like Nana is so I get along well with him.

The others at the table were new to me though about three or four guys or girls from each gang. I wasn't really surprised since it seemed normal to bring leaders in training or second in commands. Keeping watch I noticed one of the girls from the Black Spades side of the table staring at me every now and then. I was starting to get suspicious thinking of going to her to question her. I felt a hand grab on my arm making me stay put where I was. I saw the boss's hand on my arm and gave him a confused look. He whispered so I would only hear, "She isn't a spy she is the sister of Gavriil." I looked back at her no wonder why she is so young like me.

I brushed off my dress on the sides to feel my weapons on my thighs and smiled. I feel safer when I have them on me when guests are here. Boss cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention. He began speaking while everyone was listening closely. "I have invited you all for this dinner meeting today because I want to discuss starting a mafia."

Everyone at the table started speaking to each other about this. Everyone seemed pleased with the idea. He stood up with a drink in his hand, "If anyone thinks we should go ahead and start on preparations to start a mafia, say aye." Without hesitation, everyone stood and raised their glass and said aye.

I smiled seeing them come together like that though it's about something like a mafia. They began discussing the name of this mafia and leaders in command. Things seemed to be going well until there was a huge bang sound outside the doors into the hall. I instantly took out my gun and stood in front of the boss signaling the others to check it out. I saw a couple of guys run in that were guarding outside the doors.

The whole room was silent while I was with the boss. The other leaders had guards with them as well. The men that ran in came and told the boss some gang members have decided to come to take over. He started yelling orders for others to get to safety as will he and his son once they get him.

I remember hearing another bang and then an explosion automatically making the boss crouch underneath the table. The others followed suit and the door busted open revealing men in white with bloodstains on their clothes and masks. I knew it would be one hell of a fight with them considering they took down one of the most elite we had at the doors.

It was the day that changed my future for me whether I liked it or not.
