Decision

"Come on, J please I promise to help take care of Haru and I know my father won't care." I looked at him before starting to pace back and forth. Maybe it won't be so bad after all if I stay with him. He did say he would help with Haru. Maybe I will be able to get along with him better again, too.

"Okay, fine I will stay with you in your room with Haru. But you have to help me with Haru as you said." He smiled ear to ear before grabbing my hand and picking up Haru in his arms. I was kind of happy and nervous. There was a weird feeling that popped up when I was with him. I always seem to be on edge with him.

"Good I will have some men get you some clothes for the week. So that both you and Haru will be able to live comfortably." We walked out of my room and down the hall to a set of stairs that lead to the Boss' and his family's rooms. I started to get nervous as we got closer to the two rooms at the end of the hallway.

Since I have been Asher's personal bodyguard and the main guard of the Mafia I know this house. Oh, that is the boss's name if I never mentioned it before. Back to the house, I know it so well I could walk around in the dark totally blinded. It was what I was trained to do in case of an emergency. The rooms in this hallway except for the two near the end are for May and Asher's family.

On the right was a dark-colored door and on the left was a light brown door. May opened the light-colored one and pushed me in. The room was very spacious and surprisingly bright. The last time I had come into this room was when I was told to memorize this room in case of an emergency. Before this I had never had a reason to step foot in here since May always came to my room.

Before it was very dark, just like his fathers' but it seems he has brightened it up a bit. I look around the room a bit to familiarize myself with it. Haru spoke up, catching my attention, "Mommy we are staying with him for a little while?" I nodded my head smiling before he smiled and hugged May.

"I do have one problem and I want you to not speak just yet and let me finish explaining." I nodded my head for him to continue. "Well we do only have one bed in here to sleep on-" I saw the couch and before I could speak he continued. "I am sleeping on the couch while you and Haru are sleeping on my bed." I shook my head no before speaking.

"I can sleep on the couch since I am intruding on you if you let Haru sleep in your bed with you." He chuckled to himself, "You are sleeping on the bed with Haru and that's final." I was gonna open my mouth but he gave me a stern look, shaking his head lightly. I closed my mouth and sat on the bed listening to his orders.

Haru started to run around the room once May let him down. I smiled at him as he jumped on the bed before making me lay down with him. I started tickling him to see that precious smile I loved so much. "You both seem to be enjoying yourselves without me." I looked at May and smiled before tackling him to the ground and Haru jumped on him as well.

May was able to pin me to the floor and tickle me along with Haru. I was tearing up as I laughed from the weird sensation. I yelled for them to stop and they did so while smiling and laughing along with me. May let me up as well as lending me a hand to stand.

I was surprised when I realized how much stronger May was than me. When I tackled him even though I was the one who was trying to pin him down he had me pinned within a second. I need to train more if I am ever going to be able to defend him. What if someone was stronger than me like him and I couldn't take them down. I would be a failure to this mafia.

I wouldn't be able to protect my family.
