Never Back Down Till I See Blood

The blood on the blank full masks on all three men wasn't really intimidating. I could tell from my training what gang they were from by their clothes. All white coveralls and black tennis shoes with a blank white full-face mask meant they were from the Doves. I was taught that they were very hostile and vicious towards anyone that dared pissed them off.

Lucky for the boss I was the target instead of him so I knew his life wasn't really in danger. Though I still made sure that I was to protect him and his son. Speaking of which I didn't know where May was at the moment he was supposed to attend the dinner but sir told me he was upset with him. Back to the matters at hand looking at the doves standing before me, I would struggle like last time.

One of the men took a stance as if to launch an attack on me while the other two took out guns themselves. Sir was still under the table so no need to worry about him getting attacked unless he decides on getting out which would never happen. I took a stance holding the gun at them ready to shoot while my right hand still to my side in case I need my knife as well. The guy taking stance leaped forward causing the fight to begin.

He jumped at me making me shoot him twice in his left leg. Before he fell I noticed a knife coming at me I guess he had a weapon after all but I couldn't dodge the knife fast enough. I felt a sharp pain in my side making me feel my right side with my free hand. I noticed the gash when I felt my side become wet and warm I clenched my jaw wanting to cry in pain but forced myself to do otherwise.

At this point, I was beginning to feel like I was blacking out from the gash. I knew they wouldn't survive if I let her take control right now but I couldn't do anything. Dots started to cloud up my eyesight as I saw the other two men pull out knives. Everything went dark and I felt really light like I was on a swing.

Everything turned white and then I felt drops on my face and then more and soon enough it was raining. Lightning came upon the sky I was looking up at as I was swinging at a public park near the mansion. The light making the dark grey clouds look like cotton candy that had no flavor. I heard some feet walking through puddles near me and turned to see two men in white coveralls and a white mask. I jumped off the swing and landed perfectly on the gravel beneath my feet making a sort of crunching sound.

They both walked a bit forward before handing me a folded piece of paper. I slowly opened it to see the message:

Hi, my little dearie,

I would love to see you working for me and our family. You know that Asher is not in his right mind with the death of his daughter. He can't take care of you forever he will sell you one day to the higher-ups in the mafia. Come now with my men and you will be a princess no debt or anything my lovely.

With Much Need,

The leader of the Doves

That was the day I fought with the two doves when they tried to take me by force. I didn't tell the boss about that one because I felt like he didn't need to worry about the Doves trying to take me. The doves were a little more feared by all gangs and drug lords than Sir was by them which I knew he wasn't scared of the Doves.

I left that day with both men laying on the floor blood coming from multiple areas on their bodies. I never told the boss about it not even Nana knew why I was covered in mud and bruises with dry blood on my face. That incident happened almost a week ago.

I blinked my eyes open as if I was asleep but I was standing in blood staring at three bodies on the floor. They were dead for sure they had to be since I could see what muscles and bones were hiding behind their skin. The white clothes they were wearing were a deep red not a spot of white was seen as the clothing soaked the blood like a sponge. I looked at my hands that were not free from blood as well with a knife in my hand and the gun I once held at my feet.

I looked around to see everyone with wide eyes getting out from under the table. I then remembered what exactly all these people were here for and why I was standing over dead bodies. The boss was the only one who didn't look surprised just had a faint sad smile. I killed three men that I didn't want to kill and I knew it would eat me up inside with all the rest of the others I have killed. But I couldn't let this get me since this is my life. I still try not to kill them since I know they have families.
