"Are you sure you don't want to be a bridesmaid? " Kai asks.

"I'm sure. My job wouldn't let me have time for fitting and bridesmaids duties." I say getting into my car.

"I hate your job. " She mumbles. I chuckle.

"Well I love my job and would love to very much keep it. "

"You're still coming this weekend right? " She asks.

"Is Dylan going? "

"Yess... " She trails off.

"No."

"Oh come on! It's my Bachelorette, you have to come. I will never forgive you if you don't. "

"I'll think about it. "

"oh! I almost forgot, Sabrina's dress is ready. "She pipes up.

" I'll get it tomorrow. I'll talk to you later. I have to get Sabrina from school. "I start the car and put it in drive.

" Ok bye. "We hang up and I pull off towards Sabrina's school. I drive 20 minutes to her school and park just as the bell goes. I get out and I see her come through the door talking to her friend Paige.

" Hi Ms Davis. "Paige says as they walk up to my car.

"Hi girls. Do you have your overnight bag Paige? "She nods.

" Ok then let's go. "I open the back door and they both climb in. After closing their door and getting in the drivers seat, I drive off towards the bureau.

" Are we going home mom? "Sabrina asks.

" Yea I just have to stop by work and pick up Stephanie. "I say she smiles.

" Can we go somewhere? "Sabrina asks.

" Go where? "I ask.

"Let's go to the trampoline park. " Paige says.

"Ok." I say parking across the street from the building. I pull out my phone and call Stephanie.

"Wassup." She answers.

"I'm outside. "

"Ok I'm coming. "

"Kay bye. "I hang up and see her come out five minutes hates later.

" Hi ladies. "The girls say hi and I drive off. She takes out a file and opens it.

" So I was looking into employees that were recently fired, had quit, or filed any complains of a sort. "She says quietly.

" What did you find? "I ask.

" Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Everything that I'm going through leads back to him. "I sigh.

" Well I looked at his bank statements for his accounts and found nothing. If he is doing this, where is the money going. "

"Jones wants to start interviews tomorrow. " She says.

"Perfect. You do the interviews and I'll stay out of it. " I say. She snorts.

"No. " I sigh.

"Did I tell you about the time when Sabrina found out about her gag reflex? " I ask Stephanie. She shakes her head while taking a bite of her nachos.

"No what happened? " I start to laugh thinking about it.

"Ok so she was about.... Maybe 2 , and she was eating I think strawberries and I guess she put her whole hand in her mouth because I heard her gag. " Stephanie chuckles.

"I can already see this. " She says. I grin.

"So I turn to look at her and she has this shocked look on her face. Then she stuck her hand in her mouth and did it again. This time though she spit up all over herself. " I say.

"Did she do it again? "

"Yea. She kept doing it all day. I had to literally watch her every second because when I turned my back she did it again."

"She is exactly like you. " Stephanie says.

"I know. That's the bad thing. "All of a sudden I hear screaming. I immediately search for Sabrina and Paige. I gasp in horror when I spot them. I spring up from my seat and run over to where she is.

I find her in top of another girl landing blow after blow. I go over and grab her off I pull her up and she is kicking and yelling in my arms.

" SABRINA DAVIS SCOTT! "She stops moving. I go to our table and Stephanie grabs our stuff and Paige. I go directly to the door and go outside. I place her on the ground and grab her arm making her turn to me.

" What the fuck happened!? "I ask.

" She fucking deserved it! "She sneers. I raise my eyebrows.

"We're going home. We will talk about this then. Paige, I'm taking you home. "

"I don't care! " Sabrina shout stomping her way up the stairs.

"Don't fucking talk to me like that and get your ass back down here! NOW! " I yell. I hear her groan as she stomps her way back down the stairs.

"What now? " I give her the 'don't start with me' look.

"Why did you fight that girl? "

"She kept pointing and laughing at me and Paige. She called us stupid and ugly. She goes to my school mom. She's always bullying me because I don't have a dad. " She says quietly.

I see a tear fall down her face. I look at Stephanie who is already looking at me. My heart breaks hearing this. I move around the couch and pull her into my arms.

"Why didn't you tell me you were getting bullied? "I ask.

" Because. "She mumbles into my shirt.

" Because why? "I ask looking down at her.

" Because I didn't want to. "

"Sweets, you need to tell me when these things are happening. This stuff is serious. " She nods.

"Ok." She pulls back and wipes her face. I comb my finger through her hair.

"No more fighting ok? " She nods.

"Ok."

"I love you. I say kissing her forehead.

" I love you too. "She goes up to her room and I sigh. She is definitely my daughter.

" So how was your day? "

"Today was awful. It went exactly how I didn't want it to go. " I say through the phone.

"Why? What happened? " Asher asks.

" Sabrina got into a fight at the trampoline park.. " I sigh.

"Yikes." Is all he says.

"Just be glad you weren't there. Ugh. It's going to haunt me for the rest of my life. "

"Speaking of fighting, have you spoke to Dylan? " He asks quietly. I pause for a moment.

"No. I have nothing to say to her and would appreciate not seeing her again. "

"What happened between you two. You just said that she was talking shit but that's all she does. What did she do? "

"Its stupid. It happened in high school. But I'm still so pissed off by it. I guess this was the first thing that happened that lead to the downfall of our friendship. " I sit on my couch and fold my legs under me.

"What did she do? " He asks again.

"She slept with Caden while we were married. "
