I walk down the aisle and find my seat. Coincidentally it's right next to Caden's.
"Hey." He says.
"Hey." I sit down.
"So I talked to my sister earlier after you left. "
"And what did she say? "
"She said to gett itt iiinnn! " I roll my eyes.
"Never." I declare.
"Never say never. " Jordan pops up.
"I like women more. " I say.
"Ouch." Caden pretends to be hurt.
"Why go back to someone I've already had when I could find someone new? " I question.
"You have a point but, are you ready to move on? In all seriousness. " Jordan says.
"I don't know. Maybe if the right person comes. But it won't be caden. Been there, done that. " I say.
"Oh come on really? What's wrong with me? You know you love me. " He smirks at me.
"I can't trust you. You broke my heart, and you didn't even care. "
"Should we really have this conversation now.? "Caden asks looking annoyed.
"No. I don't want to fight with anyone today. Today is going to be a good day. My brother is getting married and that's all that matters. "
I see Andrew come down the aisle and stand next to the officiant. After a minute, the bridal party comes down the aisle. Following is Sabrina tossing flowers. When the doors open and I see Kai, I immediately think of Charlotte.
"We're married! Can you believe it!? " Charlotte exclaims.
"No I can't. But we do have to talk about your mother. We've put it off for too long. "I say seriously.
" I know. Okay so what is the problem between the two of you.? "
"She doesn't aproove of me. It's been years and she's still hostile. " I say.
"My mom has a hard time accepting my sexuality. She never acutely witnessed me in a relationship with a girl. You were to first one who she actually saw me in a relationship with. Your past and the fact you were already pregnant when we met didn't help. "
"Why didn't you ever tell me this? " I ask."I don't know. I just figured you'd let it go. You never see my mom. "
"Yea, but when I do I don't want to be on her death list. "
"Oh stop exaggerating.! " She says standing up from the couch.
"What! I'm not exaggerating. "I say sitting up right.
" Yes you are. My mom loves you. She's just over protective. "Charlotte says.
"Over protective is not wanting you to date a boy with a bad reputation, not hating your wife. " I say dryly.
"Ok. I'll talk to her. " She say.
"Thank you. " She comes over and give me a quick kiss then goes back to the kitchen. I furrow my eyebrows after I hear her mumbling in the kitchen.
"Yea mom. Please don't murder my wife. She's doesn't think you particularly nice to her. "She says sarcastically.
" Ok stop making fun of me. "
"I'm sorry. This is just too good. "
"Oh.so we're poking fun! Let me see. "
"Oh come on Tania. "
