"Why are you just now going for child support? You should have done this a long time ago. " Brooke asks. I'm surprised considering it's her son we're talking about.

"I didn't wanna deal with it back then. And I never really needed it because Charlotte helped pay half of all our bills. When she died, I had to pay everything by myself. "

"She had savings? " I nod.

"I didn't want to use it but I paid my bills with it. And that ran out a year and a half ago. "

"I agree with you wanting to do this. My son was in the wrong with this situation. Obviously this is failure on my part because if I had raised him right then he would be here with you. "

"I know you raised him right. It was just our problems that got in the way. "

"How do you want to do this? Do you have a lawyer? Do you want to talk to him about this before you go the legal way? " She asks.

"I want to talk to him but if we don't come to an agreement then it's going to court. I was actually going to ask for his address. " I drag out the 's'.

"Oh I don't know. "

"I just don't want to talk at any of our work places because this is a personal matter. I don't want to call him because either one of us could get angry and hang up. I can't do it at my house, Sabrina knows nothing of him and the last thing I want to do right now is to take him there. "I explain. She looks at me. It's like she's reading me.

" Ok I'll give you his address but I'm going to tell him that I gave it to you. When you ambush him is totally up to you. "

"I'm not ambushing him. I'm just showing up without his knowing. "I say with a smile.

" That is ambushing. "She chuckles.

" I don't like that word. "I declare .

" So the bridal shower is tonight? "

"Yea. I don't know what's going to happen. If caden will show up. If my drama with the girls will get in the way. I just want a nice calm night because this is for my brother and best friend. I don't want to ruin it. "

"This is a very happy occasion. Try to have a nice night. No drama. " Brooke says.

"I'll be good if they're good. " And god let them be good.

"I will. Bye I love you mom. "Sabrina says getting out of my car and running into my dad's house. I make sure she gets into the house with my dad and then I drive off to the shower.

Kai said no children. Witch is good because I don't know what going to happen. I at least want to be civil with everyone before the wedding. I pull up to the small venue and find a parking. I park and take out my phone. I dial Stephanie.

"Oh my god I was just about to call you. "

"Well I'm here. "

"Get your ass in here. Caden is here. " I raise my eye brows.

"Oh my god. I'm not ready for this. " I sigh but get out.

"Just hurry up. "

"Ok ok I'm coming in. " I walk to the entrance. The entrance is decorated nice. I open the door and go through the double doors. This place looks go good. It's elegant but so Kai at the same time. I see Stephanie. I go straight for her. Just as someone grabs my arm.

"My mom called. She said you both went to lunch. " I look up at Caden.

"Is that all she said? " I ask.

"Yea why. Is there something else. "He furrows his eyebrows.

" No. I was just wondering. Is that all you wanted.?"I ask.

"Yea." He says but he doesn't let go of my arm.

"Will you let go? " I move my arm.

"Oh! Yea. Sorry. " He let's go and takes a step back. I just walk away.

"So are we just going to ignore the conversation you had with baby daddy? "

"What conversation? " I ask tossing my phone in my purse.

"Are you saying there wasn't one? "Stephanie Narrows her eyes at me.

" No. It's not or it wasn't a conversation. He just let me know that his mom called him and told him we had lunch. "

"And the arm thing? "

"It's nothing. "

"Okay,  since I'm not getting any thing from you, what happened with your lunch with Brooke? . "

"It went good. It was nice seeing her. "

"Did she give you his address? "

"Yes she did. She said she was going to tell him but she didn't yet. "

"Shit, I'd take Sabrina with me if I were you. "

"Well you're not. I'm not taking her. I don't need that right now. Things will just get more complicated than they already are. " I sigh.

"What's complicated? " I turn and see Kai and Andrew.

"Nothing. Hi! I'm so excited for you guys. " I stand and hug the both of them.

"Thanks girl. You look hot. Are you trying to impress? "Kai says.

"Hell no. This is the dress I went with you to buy for today. You knew I was wearing this. "Andrew laughs.

" She planned everything didn't she? "He chuckles.

" Yes. She even chose what I'm wearing for the wedding. "

"Is it that one black dress? "

"The one that she yelled at me about? Yes. " I say. I didn't want to wear a dress that Kai paid for. I told her I would go with her to look and I'd buy a dress that I liked. Little did I know she had already bought one.

"You can't get mad though. It's a cute dress. "Stephanie says taking a drink of her champagne.

" Ok well I'm going to go say hi to our other guests. I'll see you later. "Kai says walking away.

" Well big bro. I never thought you'd be marrying my best friend. I'm happy you are though. She needed someone genuine. And you needed someone that would put you in check. "I say.

" She's perfect. I love her so much. I never thought I'd feel this  way for someone. "

"Well she is better than all of the girls you banged. Thank god I set you up. Lord knows who you'd be with if it wasn't for me. " I say patting his shoulder.

"Yea okay Tania. " I laugh.

"Go find your girl. I love you. " I say hugging him.

"I love you too sis. "He says hugging me back. Then Stephanie had to open her mouth and ruin the moment.
