This past week has been really stressful. Sabrina wants to join a soccer team with Paige, but I calculated how much that would be and I don't have enough money for that.

I talked to my dad about it but he keeps telling me to take caden to court for child support. And the more I think about it, the more I want to go and do it.

I am now just going on my lunch break and my phone starts ringing. I look down at my phone to see Dylan's name.

"Hello."

"Have you gone to lunch yet? " I am confused.

"No. Why? "

"Meet me at Mia's. " She says.

"Ok." I hang up. I roll my eyes. I stand and grab my purse. I go next door to Stephanie's office.

"Whats good sugar boo? "She says when I walk in.

"I'm going to meet Dylan at Mia's. So if you don't hear from me in an hour, than know that something happened. " I say. She snorts.

"I can't believe your meeting her. "

"Yea well me neither. The bridal shower is tomorrow and the wedding is next weekend. I at least want to be able to be in the same room with her for my brother and Kaileah's sake. "

"Have fun. " She says.

"I won't. I already know. "

"If you want to bring up shit from high school, why don't we talk about the fact that you dated a murderer. How did she get out of juvie anyways? . " Dylan says.

"Well if you must know., she stabbed her parents, was tried as an adult but ended up getting 5 years for self defense. That's how she got out. The reason she had for stabbing her parents is non of your damn business. So yes, I dated a murderer. But that has nothing to do with our problems. " I say.

"Why can't you get over it.? "

"Why can't I get over it? Dylan I've known you for 16 years and no one, Not even Devin, has hurt me or screwed me over as much as you did. "

"I never did anything to you. " She deflects.

"You told everyone that I got abused and raped by my step father because you thought I was sleeping with your pedophile boyfriend. Then you drag me into problems I didn't need. Like the gang. When I was going through everything with Devin, you weren't there. When my brother was in the hospital you weren't there. When I was nearly beat to death, you weren't there for me. When I was in labor, you weren't there. When Charlotte died, you weren't there. So many things happened in my life and you were a terrible friend. You weren't there for me. "

"That's a load of bullshit Tania. Don't act like you were such a good friend either because you weren't. "

"What the hell are you talking about? Even when you lied to my face about who got you pregnant, I was there at every appointment alongside my brother when it wasn't even his kid. And even through you don't know it, I told Asher that I thought the baby was his. Because I thought you were a better person than to cheat and get pregnant. "

"That may be true but that still doesn't make you a good friend. "

"I'll admit it, I wasn't a good friend all of the time. I'm not perfect. But when you needed me, I came running. " I say. I check my watch. I have to get back and this conversation was pointless. We resolved nothing.

"Whatever Tania. "

"Yea, whatever Dylan. " I grab my bag and stand. I walk out of the restaurant. That bitch can pay for my meal.

"Hi Brooke. It's Tania. I know it's been a long time but I was wondering if we can have lunch sometime? Just give me a call back and let me know. " I sigh and hang up. I need her advice. About taking Caden to court. I know she will be biased because it's her son but I wanna know what she thinks. I just got out of a meeting where Stephanie and I got scolded because we haven't got a new lead. Agent Jones can kiss my ass.

"Who is Brooke? " Stephanie asks coming into my office.

"Caden's mother."I lean back in my seat.

"And you want to have lunch with her? "She sits and opens. The file on my desk.

" I want to tell her that I'm taking caden to court. I know caden. I know he will twist this shit somehow so I want to tell her myself. Before she get the idea that I'm trying to be Vindictive. Which I'm not. I truly need the extra money. Especially now because she wants to play soccer. "I sigh.

" Caden would tell her different? You really think he'd tell his mom that? "I nod.

" Maybe. I don't know. I do this know what to think anymore. The last time I talked to him, things were the same as 9 years ago. He wants and wanted nothing to do with her. "

"What about before? What was he like before Sabrina? " She asks.

"Oh god. He was toxic. So toxic but I was too. I liked arguing and he liked cheating. We weren't right together. But we were the at our best together when we were friends. Even after we got our annulment, we went back to being friends and it was like everything never happened. I don't know. I guess I thought that he was some in that I could have in my life forever. "

"I would give anything to have seen you guys in high school. "

"No you don't. " I laugh. She starts to laugh as my phone rings.

"Oh my god, it's his mom. " I say.

"Answer it. " She says gesturing to my phone. I pick it up and tap the answer key.

"Hello."

"I feel like I am speaking to a ghost. " I smile.

"I know it's been forever. "

"I was surprised when I listened to your voicemail. I can make it to lunch with you tomorrow. "

"Ok great. How does Carter's sound? "

"That sounds great. I'll see you tomorrow. "

"Ok bye. " We hang up.

"I guess I'm having lunch with Brooke tomorrow. "
