Chapter 30

7 hours later, I got my younger brother back in school and I am now currently walking into my apartment afraid of what I'm going to see.

I hear T-Pain, but I don't see Caden or Sabrina. I round the corner and see flashing lights. I go farther and see Caden standing on my couch holding strobe lights wearing sunglasses. I than see Sabrina wearing a cute outfit looking like she's going to a party and wearing sunglasses with her hair curled.

I also see my favorite set of wine glasses on the table next to a opened jug of tropical fruit punch. I hear Aiden enter behind me and I quickly turn and shush him. I take out my phone and open Snapchat. I make sure my flash is off then start recording. I hear Aiden chuckle behind me.

"What is going on here?"i ask. They both stop and whip in my direction.

"We're having a party mom." Sabrina says shrugging.

"And I wasn't invited?" Aiden asks from behind me. I elbow him.

"Get off of my couch Caden Scott."he scrambled off and stands next to Sabrina.

"So how'd s it go?" Caden asks. Sabrina just rolls her eyes.

"Why would you even ask that? It's my mom, she can do anything." She shrugs with a smirk.

"She threatened to call the board of admissions and get him fired." Aiden deadpans. I elbow him again. Caden smirks.

"That's my girl."

"Not your girl." I move and sit on the couch with a sigh.

"Yet." Sabrina says while plopping onto the floor.

"You want us together?" I ask in surprise. She shrugs.

"If he makes you happy. You were sad for a long time." She shrugs again. My face softens. I didn't realize that she could tell. I tried to hide it from her as best as I could.

"Come on rinarooni, let's get you ready for bed." Aiden says gesturing to the stairs.

"Why do you still call me rinarooni? I'm not 4 anymore." She says rolling her eyes. Aidens holds up his hand in a surrender gesture.

"Sorry. Dang no need to bite my head off." He follows after her up the stairs.

"The attitude on that girl I swear." I shake my head.

"She's literally a mini you." Caden says sitting next to me.

"My worst nightmare." He chuckles.

Then we sit in silence. Not awkward but comfortable. I turn and look at him. He's looking out the windows across from us, completely relaxed.

"What?" He asks softly. I shake my head as he turn and looks into my eyes.

"I know that look." He says.

"What look?" I ask.

"That look. "He runs his finger along my cheek then slowly threads his fingers into my hair and pulls me closer.

"Cade." I whisper. I don't know why I said it. But I don't care. He leans in a lightly touches his lips to mine.

"Use protection!" Aiden says as he walks into the elevator. We pull back and I flip him off. He laughs and presses the button to finally leave. I shake my head. My brother will be the death of me. All of them.

2 months later

Cadens POV

"My babymama is so hot. " I mutter looking at the picture she posted on Instagram today.

"Fuck man. You are so whipped. " Jordan sahs.

"Have you even had sex yet since she started talking to you again? " Jaden asks. I shake my head.

"Not since the night before the weddjng. We were both too drunk to even appreciate it. "I say I like the picture and exit the app.

" Well I'm assuming if it were up to you, you'd both be married again. "Jordan looks over at me and smirks.

" Damn right. My life hasn't been the same since I lost her. "I tell them. They both look at each other than burst out laughing.

" What ? ". I ask.

" I mean, you did that to yourself. By denying your child, then sleeping with Mindy and Dylan and those other girls. But mostly Dylan and Mindy. "Jaden says.

" Twins. It's because they're twins. "Jordan says.

" And? Tania is also a twin. "Jaden piints out.

" Yea but she has a brother. That makes all the difference. "

"Oh you act like you wouldn't bang Asher. " I say.

"I would. " Jordan agrees.

"But twin sisters are better? " Jaden asks.

"100 percent. " Jordan says.

"There are just too many twins around here. " I say rolling my eyes.

"You're just mad because yiure not a twin. " Jaden says smirking.

"You're the only one in this group that doesn't have a twin." Jordan says.

"That is incorrect, not that you actually state facts ever. " Jaden says.

"Ok well I'm going to go. The girls are walking towards us and your babymama is giving me the evil eyes. " Jordan stands and heads out of the restaurant.

"Wow not even a good bye. " I say.

"Well if you saw her eyes you'd run too. " Jaden says sipping his water.

"Uncle Jaden! " Sabrina shouts as soon as she nears the table.

"Stop shouting Sabrina. " Tania says signing. She sits in the chair next to me and the seat across from jaden. She rubs her temples and closes her eyes. Sabrina sit down next to Jaden and smiles at me.

"Mom has been crabby all week." Sabrina says.

"Well Sabrina, when you are an adult sometimes you get stressed and your mom seems stressed about something..... " Jaden continues to explain adulthood to her. I turn to Tania.

"You ok? " I ask softly taking her hand.

"I'm so tired,  I have a headache, and I feel like I'm going to get a cold. On top of all that Sabrina is at a level ten and my new case at work is kicking my ass. " She sighs again.

"Well after this you can come over and take a nap for as long as you want and Jaden can take Sabrina out for the day. " I say licking eyes with him and he rolls his but nods.

"I'm not in the mood for your games today Caden. "

"No games. Just sleep. " I smile wide at her. She shakes her head.

"Fine but only for an hour. I have work to do after. "

"Yes! I get to spend the day with uncle Jaden! I get to spend the day with uncle Jaden! " Sabrina sings. I shake my head and smile.

I finally get her in my bed, not for the reason I'd like but she's gonna be in it all the same. Just napping with her is a win in my books.
