KAJSA AVOIDED AND COUNTERED EVERY STRIKE OF THE FOREST GIANTS WITH EASE, HER SWORD BEING THEIR DEMISE IN THE END.

A giant caught her off guard, hitting Kajsa so hard that she hit the hard ground and lost Ashrune. Another giant prepared to crush her, but she rolled away to safety.

Loki took down the giant, leaving her time to get up. She couldn't get a second to breathe because two other giants were headed toward her.

Going invisible, Kajsa conjures her dark magic, blasting the two giants to their death.

Pushing on, she took the frost giants out in droves, using their inability to see her against them. As soon as she made herself visible again, a round of ice bullets came flying her way.

She wielded her telumkinesis, forming the ice into sharp daggers and sending them stabbing right through the tall beast.

Just as she found Ahshrune in her grip again, she heard Volstagg let out an agonizing yell. Everyone looked his way.

"Don't let them touch you!" he warned, having just gotten frostbitten on the arm.

Everyone kept on pushing on; Kajsa and Loki find themselves fighting side by side. They worked together to counter and avoid their enemies' attack with a mixture of magic and combat.

Kajsa stabbed a giant in the leg, sending it to its knees. Loki runs over, stabbing him in the chest with a knife. The groaning giant grabs him by the arm, breaking his protective armor until his skin is exposed.

Rather than getting frostbitten, Loki's skin begins to turn blue - like a frost giant.

His eyes widen as he locked with the shocked beast.

Kajsa let out a scream, stabbing the giant through the back. He fell backward dead, and she looked at Loki's arm, astonished.

Both of them stood there for a moment, speechless. Loki's fear intensified. He not only didn't understand what was happening, but he was suddenly afraid that Kajsa would be fearful of him.

To his surprise, the panting warrior took his hand and squeezed as it went back to its normal pale shade.

"It's all right," she assured him, gulping.

Another painful scream from their own grabbed their attention.

Fandral had been stabbed through the stomach by an icicle. Even worse, they were still outnumbered, and there was no way they could kill the entire race of frost giants with only six of them unscathed.

"Thor!" Sif yelled for the ruthless god of Thunder.

But he was far too bloodthirsty to respond.

Volstagg and Hogun pulled Fandral's body off the icicle.

"We must go!" Loki yelled to his brother, still standing with Kajsa.

"Thor!" she yelled!

"Then go!" he responded, unwilling to leave until there wasn't a frost giant left alive.

Thor tossed Mjölnir taking the giants down like dominos. But Laufey wouldn't accept defeat. He awakens the Frost Beast, the colossal monster breaking through the ice he once used as a cacoon.

Volstagg lifted Fandral on his back. "Run!"

"Go, go!" Loki protectively followed behind Kajsa as she ran with the Warriors Three and Sif.

"Thor!" he called to his older brother.

But Thor wouldn't listen; he just kept fighting.

The Frost Beast came running for the group, bursting through every ice cluster that they passed. He tried to block Sif with his claw, but she slipped through the gaps.

Outnumbered, Thor put all the power he could into Mjölnir, striking the ground. It not only took down the giants but cracked and broke up the ground like an earthquake.

The group was able to escape the Frost Beat, who fell through the cracks. Fandral laughed, having been watching on Volstagg's back the whole time while Kasja smiled.

They were going to make it.

"Heimdall!" yelled Loki as they arrived at the edge of Jutonheim.

Their luck proved to be out when the Frost Beast's claw slammed in front of them. The Beast had not fallen to his death but merely ran under the ground.

Loki stood in front of Kajsa as the Frost Beast pulled himself up, confronting them. He roared in their faces, his eyes red and his teeth hanging out of his mouth like fangs.

The Beast stood up straight, gaining on the group step-by-step.

Lucky for them, Thor came to the rescue, slicing right through his throat. His eyes glazed over, and he fell on his side, dead before he even hit the ground.

Thor landed on his feet with his back turned to them, and the Frost Beast's body slid off the cliff.

When Thor turned around, his smile disappeared at the sight of the dozens of frost giants standing before them.

The group just stood there, quiet, scared, and still significantly outnumbered.

Fortunately, before the frost giants could even touch them, the Bifrost opened. Odin arrived on his neighing horse with his spear in hand.

"Father! We'll finish them together!" Thor yelled, his hammer held high.

A panting Kajsa shook her head, scoffing.

"Silence!" Odin hushed him like the child he was behaving as.

Thor's excitement dwindled as Laufey approached Odin, so they were face to face.

"Allfather. You look weary."

"Laufey," Odin ignored his comment, "end this now."

"Your boy sought this out."

The group looked to Thor at the true statement.

"You're right," Odin didn't argue. "And these are actions of a boy, treat them as such. You and I can end this here and now before there is further bloodshed."

"We are beyond diplomacy now, Allfather. He'll get what he came for. War and death."

Realizing that there was no way of compromise, Odin nodded. "So be it."

Laufey goes to attack, but Odin blasts him away with his spear. The Bifrost opens, sucking Odin and the group into the energy surge and back to Asgard.

Kajsa was more relieved than she thought she'd be when she was in her father's arms. Then again, it was a very close call back in Jutonheim.

Lucky they'd survived, but Odin was not happy, and neither was Thor, so tensions were high.

"Why did you bring us back?" Thor asked his father.

"Do you realize what you've done?!" a furious Odin yelled. "What you've started?!"

"I was protecting my home," argued Thor.

"You cannot protect your friends! How can you hope to protect a kingdom?" Odin pulls Hofund out of the apparatus and tosses it to Heimdall. He looks at the others, Hogun and Volstagg holding an injured Fandral upright. "Get him to the healing room!"

Sif, Volstagg, and Hogun hurry out with Fandral. Heimdall pulls Kajsa out with them so that the royal family can have a moment.

As she gets pulled away, she looks at Loki, the two sharing a look of fear as they remembered what happened in Jutonheim.
