EARTH WAS DIFFERENT. In comparison to Asgard, there was nothing quite spectacular about it in Kajsa's opinion. That isn't to say the place wasn't intriguing. She, Sif, and the Warriors Three walked down the street of the unfamiliar town. They ignored the stares they received from the tiny humans and the honks from passing cars.

"Where could he be?" Fandral asked.

Kajsa stopped in the middle of the road, noticing a little girl sitting outside some shop, eating candy. Mezermized by Kajsa, she smiled and waved.

Kajsa smiled and waved back.

"Kajsa, what is it?" Sif and the boys had turned to look at her.

"Maybe we should ask someone," she suggests.

Kajsa notices an intriguing-looking woman walking down the sidewalk. Her hair was two colors, black and white - right down the middle.

"Um, excuse me," she stopped at her.

"Wow, nice hair," the girl complimented.

"Well, thank you. How kind of you," Kajsa smiled, surprised. "I don't mean to bother you, but is there a chance you've seen a tall man, broad shoulders, long blonde hair -"

"I think I know who you're talking about," the girl grinned. "He was at the diner I work at like a day ago. Guy's got the body of a god."

"Well, he is one, so . . ." Kajsa shrugged.

"One can dream," the woman chuckled.

Not understanding her amusement, Kajsa frowned, exchanging a look with Sif and the boys.

"Anyway, he was with Jane. She's a regular at the diner. You could probably find them at the abandoned mechanic shop. Smith's Motor, not too far up the road," the woman pointed.

"Thank you," Kajsa bowed her head.

"No problem, and you might want to stay on the sidewalk," the girl warned. "Don't want to get hit by a car."

They looked around, realizing they were the only people walking in the middle of the road.

"Right, thanks," she said as the girl walked away.

Continuing their journey on the sidewalk, they eventually arrived at Smith's Motor. They stood in front of the glass door, watching Thor dry dishes in a kitchen. Accompanying him were two women and an older gentleman.

"Found you!" Volgstagg announced their presence after knocking.

Thor's face lit up at the sight of them.

His three companions' jaws drop as the Asgardians entered.

"My friends!" Thor greeted them with hugs. "This is good!" he was thrilled. "This is good!"

"I don't believe it . . ." the older gentleman was flabbergasted.

"Oh, excuse me," Volstagg introduced them, "Lady Sif, Kajsa, and the Warriors Three."

"And you are," Kajsa was intrigued by the humans.

"Jane," the light-haired brunette introduced herself. "Darcy and Dr. Selvig."

"Pleasure to meet your acquaintance," she shook their hands.

Thor put an arm around her, "my friends, I've never been happier to see anyone. But you should not have come."

Their faces fell in bewilderment.

"We're here to take you home," chuckled Fandral.

"You know I can't," replied Thor sadly. "My father is dead because of me. I must remain in exile."
