After having to leave my home town with my mother due to my abusive dad, I felt both happy and sad. Happy because we had finally gotten out of that toxic hell and sad because I left my one friend that I had behind. Jade stuck with me through everything, she was truly an amazing friend. Now I am even more afraid of going into a new high school, I have no friends and did I mention I used to get bullied for "being weird".
Once my mom and I arrived to our new home I realized that it was a good thing, no one knows me it can be a fresh start and perhaps I can make friends. I helped my mom unload and unpack our boxes. The house was a beautifully white color, it included three bedrooms meaning we had a guest room too yayy. I chose the room with a window leading to the roof of the house, I began hanging my posters on the walls and filling in my closet. Tomorrow was going to be my first day at my new school which scared the living shit out if me, I don't think I'll be able to sleep.
