We gave our orders to waiter. Our food arrived in 10 minutes. As waiter was serving our drinks, he accidentally spilled it on my clothes.
" I'm sorry sir. I will clean it" He said panicking.
" Don't worry it's ok. You can go now" I said and smiled at him.
" Mom I will be back" I told my mom. She nodded.
I went in restroom to clean my blazer. After cleaning it, I went outside, just then one women knocked on to me. I held that women by her shoulders to steady her.
" I am sorry I wasn't looking where I was going" I froze. I know that voice. Slowly she raised her head and her eyes met mine. Her eyes widened when she recognized me. She tried to back away from me but I held her tightly.
" Mia" I whispered. I am seeing her after 7 years. She looks so different now. The Mia I knew hated makeup. But still she looked beautiful with her red lipstick and eyeliner.
" Let go please" She said trying to back away from me. I slowly let go of her.
" How are you Kitten?" I asked. I used to call her kitten when we were little. Oh god I missed her too much.
" I am fine" She said and started walking. I followed her and held her arm but she quickly snatched her arm from my grasp. It hurts but I did not say anything.
" Can we talk please?" I asked.
" What do you want to talk?" She asked me. She crossed her arms against her chest and raised an eyebrow.
" About us" I said looking in her eyes. I just want to hug her but I know I can't.
" There is no us. You are you and I am me. We are not together" She said.
" I'm sorry kitten for what happened in our past" I said. She sighed.
" Listen Alex. I don't want to talk about it please. I don't want to remember it again. I have to go please, my friend is waiting for me" She said and walked out of the restaurant.
I stood there with my two hands in my pant pockets. I wanted to go after her but I can't. I don't want to hurt her more than I already did. I went near my table and sat on the chair. Me and mom talked for sometime. She was saying that she wants me to marry some girl. I was not even listening to her. I dropped her at our mansion and went to my penthouse.
After taking a shower I changed my clothes to t-shirt and sweatpants. I lied down on my bed looking at ceiling. After 7 years I saw her today. I so wanted to hug her. But she would have slap me. My phone's ringing broke me out of my thoughts. I looked at the screen. It's Ethan. I picked up the phone.
" Hey Dude. We didn't decide anything about bachelor's party of Xander" He said.
" What about it?" I asked in confusion.
" Dude Bachelor's party. We should invite strippers" He said excitedly. I rolled my eyes.
" Xander will never allow it" I said. It's true Xander will never allow strippers in his bachelor party.
" Then we will keep it secret from him and surprise him" Ethan said.
" He is not going to like this" I said.
" We are doing it and that's final"He said and hung up.
I put my phone on night stand. But I couldn't sleep. What would have happened if I was brave enough that time. If I convinced her more. Mia was the only special person in my life. I can never forget about her. Thinking about her I fell asleep.

Mia's POV :
I woke up at 7 am when my alarm rang. I got ready for work. But I am still sleepy. My mind was filled with thoughts of Alex. Seeing him after 7 years brought past memories of us. When he held my arm, I felt sparks just like when he first kissed me, just like that night when we...... Just stop thinking about him. He is not the one for you.
After reaching boutique I went straight to my office. Someone knocked on my office door.
" Come in" I said and Athena came in.
" Hey Good Morning" She said smiling.
" Morning" I said. She frowned.
" What happened?" She asked me. I shook my head.
" I know something is wrong with you tell me now" Athena commanded. I told her everything what happened last night. She listened to me carefully.
" Now I got it why you were so quiet last night. You need to move on girl. There are plenty of boys who would like to go out with you. Do you remember in college how many boys asked you out?" She said.
" I can't trust anyone now. My two relationships failed" I said.
" You mean Chase? But you said that you didn't love him" She said.
Yes I didn't love Chase, I really wanted to work our relationship. But before he get more serious about it, I broke up with him. Now he is happily married to his girlfriend from college Susan and they have a daughter Abigail . She is really cute, I met her once. And Susan is really nice lady. I am really happy for them.
" I didn't that's why I broke with him. But still I don't want to go on a date with anyone" I told her.
" Please just once. I swear you will not regret it. Please" She pleaded. I sighed.
" Ok I will do it" She grinned at me. But I put my finger in front on her face to stop her from saying anything.
" But just once ok?" I asked. She nodded still grinning.
" I will tell you place and time till evening ok. Have a good day" She said and rushed out of office. I massaged my forehead with two fingers.
