Chapter 27

Mia's POV : 

It's been a month since I met Mrs. King. Alex asked me many times about our conversation but I avoided it. I moved in with him last week. Well basically I was living in his apartment day and night. So we decided to take our relationship to new stage. Alex always take cares of me. At the time of my periods, he was staying with me in my apartment for 4 days. Massaging my stomach and back to relieve the pain which really helped because nothing is worse than period cramps. Some girls must be really lucky who don't get period cramps. One day he asked me to move in with him. I thought about it for a day then said yes. But I didn't sell my apartment just gave it on rent. 

My chain of thoughts got broken by ringing of my phone. It was Emma. I picked up the call. 

" Hello mama to be. How are you?" I asked he smiling.

" I am good. You tell me how are you?" She asked me.

" I am also fine. How is the baby?" I asked her.

" Not a baby Mia. They are babies. I am having twins" She said. I could feel her smiling widely on the phone.

" Wow Em! That's a good news. I can't wait to meet them" I said excitedly. She giggled. 

" You will meet them in some days. But Mia I heard some news about you" She said in a tone of disappointment. My eyebrows met in confusion.

" What is it?" I questioned her.

" What is going on between you and Alexander?" She asked me. My eyes widened at her question. Oh shit! How did she find out? Nobody know about it other than Ari and Xander. 

" Who told you?" I asked her in small tone.

" That doesn't matter but why didn't you tell me? I thought we all tell each other everything. How can you do this to me?" She said. I could feel, she is on the verge of crying. 

" Em don't cry. I am really sorry. But I didn't tell anyone because we were taking things slow. Please don't be upset, it is not good for babies" I said trying to calm her down. 

" Ok I will not cry but tell me everything in detail" She said now sounding calm. I sighed in relief. This girl and her mood swings.

I told her everything from start. From start means when I first met Alex. When I finished telling her everything there was silence on the other side. 

" Hello Em. Are you there?" I asked her. Then I heard a sobbed from other side. I slapped my palm on my forehead. 

" You never told us, you went through so much. Oh my god! How terrible it must have felt. You were laughing with us but inside you were sad because of him. I so want to punch him right now. I know what he did was because of your mother but still he could have break up with you in other way but no he hurt you" She said sounding angry suddenly. 

" It's ok Em. I am fine now and he is treating me good" I said.

" He better be or there will be consequences" She said warning tone. I held myself from laughing.

" Hey did you hear about Ari's pregnancy? I accidently met her when I went in the hospital for regular check up. We squeal out loud in the hospital, then we started crying and everyone was looking at us like we are crazy" She said giggling. I shook my head hearing it. 

" You guys are weird" I said. 

" Someday you will be in our place darling and you will act like us or maybe worse" She said. I just laughed. 

We talked for sometime then she hung up the call because Austin was calling her for something. As I started doing my remaining work.
