I got ready for my date in my black off shoulder top and torn jeans. I am going to meet him in Wine & Dine restaurant at 7 pm. It's already 6:30pm. I am kind of nervous about this date. After getting in my, I started driving towards the restaurant. I reached there in 20 minutes. I parked my car and went inside. One waitress came towards me.
" Hello Mam. Do you have a reservation?" She said.
" Yes. Reservation under name Mr. Mason Parker" I said.
" Yes mam. Please come with me" She said. I followed behind her. She showed me the table. I took a seat. Mason didn't arrive yet. I sat there scrolling through instagram.
" I am sorry. I am late" I heard unfamilier voice in front of me. I looked up and saw a really cute guy standing there. He must be Mason.
" No. It's ok. Please sit down" I said. He took a seat.
" Did you order anything?" He asked me.
" No I was waiting for you. Now we can order" I said. One waitress came towards us.
" What would you like to order?" She asked us smiling.
" I will have Sizzled sausage pasta. And for you Mason?" I asked him.
" I will have the same and one bottle of red wine please" He said. Waitress wrote down our orders and went away.
" So tell me about yourself" He said.
" There is nothing specific to tell about me. I am a fashion designer and I own a boutique" I told him.
" What about your family?" He asked.
" Just me and my mom. My dad is not in the picture" I said shrugging my shoulders.
" Oh I am sorry" He said.
" No it's ok. It was long time ago" I said and smiled at him.
" Let's talk about something else. I will tell you about myself. I work as HR manager in King and Co. My parents live in Jersey City. And I have a Sister who is married" He said.
We talked for two hours. He is really funny and nice guy. He made me laugh so hard. Now my stomach is hurting because of it.
Mason paid our bill. I was going to pay but he didn't let me. We walked out of restaurant and stopped in parking lot.
" So that's it. I should go now" I said. I was turned around to go towards my car.
" Wait Mia" Mason called. I stopped and turned towards him.
" Yes" I said.
" Can we meet again. I really enjoyed today. Can I take you on a second date please?" He asked.
What should I say? I really enjoyed today. And he is really nice. Second date wouldn't hurt.
" I really enjoyed it too and yes I will go on a second date with you" I said. Big smile appear on his face.
" That's great. Thank you. Can you give me your number so I can call you" He said. I gave him my number. We both said goodbye to each other.
I got in my car and started driving towards my apartment. After reaching my apartment, I took a shower and changed my clothes in sweatshirt and shorts. Just then my phone rang. It was Athena.
" Hey how was your date?" She asked me excitedly.
" It was great. He is really nice guy. I really enjoyed it" I told her.
" I knew it. I told you didn't I that you would like him. You just don't trust me" She said. I can imagine her pouting.
" Hey, I didn't say that I don't trust you" I said.
" I know I know I'm sorry. I was just joking" She said laughing.
" Ok bye Good Night" I said.
" Yeah Good Night. Bye" She said and hung up. Soon I fell asleep.

Alex's POV :
Next Day
I was working when someone knocked on my office door. I said ' come in'. My employee and also my friend Mason came inside.
" Good Morning Alex" He said cheerfully. I narrowed my eyes at him.
" What happened?" I asked him.
" Nothing. Why did you ask?" He said with biggest smile on his face. I rolled my eyes at him.
" I can see that big smile on your face. Now tell me" I said. He sat on chair in front my desk.
" Yesterday I went on a date with really beautiful girl" He said.
" That's great. So who is she?" I asked him.
" She is really cute. She owns a boutique here in New York. I really like her. I mean just looking at her, you can say she is really nice, innocent and kind hearted" He said dreamily.
" I asked who is she. I didn't say give me her description" I said and chukled.
" Oh yes. Her name is Mia" He said and I stiffened. It can't be her.
" What's her surname?" I asked him hesitantly.
" Williams" He said and my eyes widened.
" Do you have any picture of her?" I asked him.
" No. I just met her yesterday. How can I have her picture?" He said. He frowned when he looked at my expressions.
" Do you know her?" Mason asked me. I didn't say anything just shook my head.
" No I don't know her" I said quickly. He narrowed his eyes at me.
" Ok" he said still looking at me in suspicious.
" Let's get back to work" I said. He nodded and walked out of the office.
I was thinking about what Mason said. What should I do, if it's that Mia. Even if we are not together, I can't see her with anyone else. I still remember when she was with that Chase guy. I wanted to smack him whenever I saw them kissing or hugging. That time I realised how Mia must have felt whenever she saw me with Sasha. Oh I am really an asshole. Should I ask for second chance.
No I can't interfere in her life now. I don't want to hurt her anymore. She has moved on. Mason is good guy for her. I just hope he never hurts her.
