Kazeem's POV

I have been avoiding Ebby. For two good months.

I sighed as I rubbed my head in frustration. After helping her out on her period, I couldn't stop thinking about her. I know I've always found her attractive, but I've never thought I'll think about her. Like why would I? She's rude, annoying and a whore.

I shook my head and thought back to when she met my friends Bobby. She hugged him in front of me and she was so nice to him that I nearly died of jealousy. When I realized she and Bobby used to fuck, I began wondering if there was any man she hadn't spread her legs for. Well, except for me. I didn't like the idea of her with other men. I quickly shook my head to clear such thoughts.

Since when do I get jealous.

When I saw her rolling on the floor crying, she looked so helpless and vulnerable. Something in me felt bad that she was in that much pain and I couldn't do anything to ease the pain. Something stirred in me when I watched her eat. She looked so beautiful. She didn't have any makeup on, her eyes looked like she had cried them out, but still, she was beautiful. A certain type of beauty I hadn't seen in any woman. I wanted to kiss her at that point. I wasn't thinking about sex, I just wanted to kiss her and hold her. I had to ask a question when she caught me staring, even though it wasn't what was on my mind. If her cycle is that painful, how had she been doing it these past few months without me knowing? Is she always in so much pain?

I shook my head quickly to clear the thoughts of her and picked up my phone and called Jude

"Hey man" I heard him say

"Hey. Are you guys free?" I asked

"Uhhh actually we're with a few girls. Want to come?" He asked

I would have jumped at the opportunity of fucking this night but God I just couldn't get this girl off my head

"No man. I was wondering if you guys could come to have a few glasses with me. In my house" I hope he would agree. I heard him talk to someone else, which I assume was Bobby

"We'll be there in a few" he replied and hung up. I quickly stood up from my bed and headed downstairs. When I got to the parlour, Ebby was seated on the couch, her eyes glued to the TV which was on a music channel. I noticed she loved music. I looked at her, taking in her dressing. Or lack of. She was wearing a blue singlet, which was for men. The armhole was so big that I was seeing her bra. The singlet was pooled around her waist, revealing a black bum short. Her leg was stretched out in front of her. I couldn't tear my eyes away from her smooth legs. Her laps looked so soft that I was itching to touch them. I balled my fist, shook my head and walked towards my mini bar. I took out a bottle of Hennessy and three glass cups. I kept sneaking glances at her but she didn't even spare me a glance. I sighed and headed upstairs, to my game room. A few minutes later, the door to the game room opened. I knew who it was so I continued drinking

"Rejecting a night of fun, calling us out and already drinking before us. Whatsup man?" Jude asked as he sat down

"Are you okay?" Bobby asked worriedly and I nodded

"Drinks?" I asked

"I'm driving" Jude replied

"Yes man. I'll have a glass" Bobby replied and I poured him a glass.

"Dude whatsup. I'm sure you didn't call us to drink with you. Or did you?" Jude asked

He was a logical person. He always thought before he acted. But Bobby was the fun-loving and never serious guy. He slept around way more than Jude and I. It's a surprise he hasn't caught something. I've known these guys since we were little. Our parents loved having us and my parents took them as their kids since I was an only child. I used to date Jude's sister, who is a doctor. But things didn't work out. I was very happy when it didn't cost me my friend though. I was surprised that she was cool with me too.
