Luca's POV- I got called to a quick match today, the team is me, Victor, Andrew, and Edgar ( A/N: VALE SUPREMACY ). The hunter is Ann, I have to admit I'm a bit nervous since she's always super hard to combat but I'm sure we'll do fine. After mentally preparing myself one last time I headed off to the waiting room, I hadn't realized the time and I ended up arriving last and late- I was ridiculed by Edgar but it wasn't really a punishment he's too cute when he's mad.

"Are you gonna keep staring or are you gonna click ready?" Edgar said a bit irritated

"OH Sorry" I blushed, I didn't realize how long I had been staring, Edgar rolled his eyes as he began to head out the door but before he could leave I grabbed his hand.

"HUH" Edgar exclaimed

"one thing before we go" I said

"Hurry up Balsa I don't have all day" he rolled his eyes

"Be careful Okay?" I said while giving him a kiss on the cheek before leaving

"yeah whatever" he said his face as red as a tomato

After that we got in position and that's when the match began, The match took place in the Red Church. We got pretty lucky since the map is pretty easy to navigate, I spawned by the exit gate with the cipher close by to it- a pretty good kiting area since there were quite a few pallets here.

I waited till I saw an available cipher to connect mine to, with a satisfying click the two ciphers became connected and I began decoding. I turned it up to 48% to start since it was close to being done, I checked the status and felt a bit relieved when it said "transmission loss low"- I know someone was most likely still decoding it too which is good. I was so zoned into decoding, and by the time I was almost done I noticed the transmission loss went from low- to high and sparking this was bad.

It was then I heard the loud bells echo throughout the entire map- someone had been found and hit by the hunter. I looked up and checked everyone's status- it was Edgar. I began to get a bit nervous but I shouldn't worry too much since this is Edgar and he is pretty good at kiting. Things seemed fine for a bit as I finally finished decoding- there's only one cipher left. Edgar still had been kiting which made me a bit worried but I have to trust that he will be alright, I ran to the closest cipher and began decoding- I made sure to establish a connection first since I decode faster on two ciphers than one when the transmission is terminated. I popped the last cipher after a few minutes and ran to the nearest exit gate-I made sure to decode both of them at once to make sure if my teammates were on the other side they could escape.

Finally the gate was open and Andrew and Victor shortly arrived at this gate, we had a small talk before heading out- or almost. The two went ahead of me and I followed closely behind, they left and just as I was about to leave I heard the loud bells chime once again. That's when I realized Edgar wasn't with us, I was so zoned into my work that I hadn't realized that he wasn't there.

Right now we would still have a draw for sure or a win if I left now, but I can't leave Edgar behind. This might have been reckless of me but I began to run- I Saw the outline from edgars chair in the far distance. He was all the way at the other gate. I'm so tired from running but I need to get there. I told myself, I ignored Edgar's pings telling me not to rescue him and continued to run. I felt my heart begin to skip a beat-in the distance I saw Ann, she wasn't camping the chair but she was patrolling the area to find me, she didn't notice me slip past her and I finally reached Edgar's chair.

"EDGAR" I screamed out

"SHUT UP YOU IDIOT YOU'RE GONNA MAKE THE HUNTER COME OVER HERE" Edgar silenced me
