moving in pt.1

Edgar's POV- after dating for months me and Luca decided to move in together, I have to admit I'm quite excited to finally move in with him. I decided to walk to our new place while Luca decided to drive and get help the movers get some of our stuff set up, after he said he would meet me by the brick wall where we first met. I'm honestly glad we didn't move to far away from here, I couldn't imagine myself without this place. I leaned against the brick wall behind me, I could see my breath fog up my phone screen a bit since it was so cold, I was checking to see Luca had sent me a text. I looked and read it aloud under my breath, "I'm on my way to the usual spot" he wrote. I was about to reply when I heard something rustle from one of the bushes behind me, "luca?" I questioned but when I turned around I was shocked at what I saw. Well if Luca decided to turn into a cat then this is definently him but judging by it's lack of awarness of where it is I doubt it's him. I picked the cat up in my arms and it cuddled Into my scarf, at that moment the real Luca pulled up and said "am I getting replaced?!"
"Yes" I snuggled the cat
"Smh really I can be a cat too!" He laughed
"Yeah but your not a real cat" I smiled
"Yeah your right" he sighed in defeat
"Can we keep him.." I asked
"Well I mean we should take him to the vet first and see if he belongs to anyone else first" Luca told me
"Okay!"
After that me and Luca headed back to our house, I mean yeah we had to cancel plans but this kitten could freeze in this weather. Besides Luca says he hates cats but as soon as we got to the house I found him and the cat cuddling up in the chair with Luca. The cat puréed and Luca was slightly snoring, I didn't disturb them but decided to use it as painting inspiration- as in I will so be telling you about your self Luca when you wake up. Right now there's not much we can do about the cat since the vet clinic closed earlier today, which means until it opens again the kitten gets to stay with us. I painted them together and smiled with each brush stroke, they were so cute. our new house needed some new wall decorations and this might just be the best one well ever get. I finished painting and decided to go lay with them since there was space, I needed my painting to dry and to be honest I was a bit cold. I laid down not excepting anything but soon got drawn Into the warmth. Is this what heaven feels like... I thought. I got caught up in the moment and soon fell asleep, I remember waking up and being trapped with a kitten and a boyfriend- The worst combo to be stuck under. Two cute things you don't wanna wake up or upset... I decided to go back to sleep this moment was to cute to ruin, us in our new house all cozy with a cat and everything- I just hope we can keep him.
