Edgar's POV- it was a late night in the manor, and I couldn't sleep. I tried everything but counting sheep doesn't solve all my problems. I turned to my lantern that was nearly burnt out, I decided to get up while I still had the security of my lantern. It's gonna burn out soon, so I need to act fast. I tried to think about who would be up this late at night, only an idiot. An idiot... wait... I know someone like that. I picked up my lantern with confidence and began to go down the hall, at the end stood a tall door. Who was it? it was no other than my boyfriend's, we typically sleep together but tonight he was going to be gone and he wouldn't be home till much later.
It's pretty late now... I mean I can just check if he's there...
I reached his door and grabbed the cold knob, it was unlocked and I walked in. As excepted Luca wasn't there but just being there made me feel a sense of comfort. I entered his room and closed the door behind me. I walked over to his closet and threw on one of his sweaters, it smelled like him which made me kinda happy.
I set my lantern on the desk and it burnt out as I sat it down, Luca had another lantern in here so it was fine. I layed down in Luca's bed hoping for him to come home, but I doubt that would be for at least another hour to another hour and a half. I decided to grab a pillow and cuddle it, I mean it's not exactly the same but it's a good substitute. It didn't take long after that for me to fall asleep.
Luca's POV- I was walking down the hallway to get to my room, Eddie must be lonely tonight. I feel kinda bad for leaving him to sleep alone but I thought it would be best since I wouldn't be there until right now. I opened my door and I had to look twice to make sure I was seeing things right, there he was. Edgar was lying with a pillow cuddled up to him and in one of my sweaters- "Did he really miss me that much?" I giggled to myself.
I got changed and then shortly joined Edgar, but not before throwing that pillow away, "hmpt he really thought a pillow could replace me?! Yeah no way!" I huffed before putting myself in Edgar's arms.
Exhausted from the long match I just had, I moved the hair off Edgar's forehead and gave him a goodnight kiss, before joining him in sleepy paradise.
