HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCA!

Edgar's POV- today is Luca's birthday and to me that's a very important day considering the fact that I'm his boyfriend. I've been wanting to ask Luca something for awhile. I want to ask him to marry me. I was thinking about popping the question tonight, this could either go really horribly or very well. I debated back and forth on what to do, Emma ended up walking In on me with the ring.

"Edgar did it happen" she gasped

"No but I was uh thinking about asking him tonight" I told her

"You should!" She exclaimed

"You think... I'm not so sure" I confessed

"Your right but it could go very well and you never know until you ask" Emma told me

"I guess you're right"

Emma patted me on the back before searching in the cupboards, I was in the kitchen about to bake a cake when I had remembered I had the ring with me. Emma grabbed what she needed to set up Luca's official manor party and then left after giving me one more encouraging smile. I sighed and continued to mix cake batter, I didn't hear Luca come on behind me- luckily the ring was tucked away.

"Hey Eddie" Luca smirked

"Luca you know your not supposed to be in here" I reminded

"yeah well my boyfriend is in here so therefore the kitchen has something I need, miss Mary said if I need something I can go and get it" Luca huffed

"That was yesterday Lu and besides you'll see me tonight! and isn't Tracy waiting for you" I asked

"WHOOPS" he remembered

"That's what I thought"

He gave me a kiss on the cheek before rushing out of the kitchen. I swear that boy sometimes... I thought while smiling a bit. It took me a while but I finally finished Luca's cake. What was going to happen tonight was that he would have a manor party and then later on me and him would go behind the manor to our favourite spot and I would give him a mini party. I felt relieved that I finished all his birthday preparations and decided it was time for me to get ready.

I went back up to my room, the ring still stayed hidden in my pocket. I wasn't sure if I was going to do it or not but I decided to bring it with me just in case. I grabbed my Golden radio costume and got changed, it was now time for Luca's party. I went down stairs and saw everyone and they urged me to get down and hide, the lights were off and we anticipated Lucas arrival. Shortly after I got down we heard footsteps coming and everyone got into position, when the footsteps stopped at the door we turned the lights on and popped open some confetti blasters. Luca wasn't shocked but happy, the rest of the survivors gave him a hug except me. I would have if I wasn't pushed out of the way, but that's okay. I sat back with the hunters while I waited for the others to calm down a bit. Mary looked at me.

"Edgar dear, are you alright?" She asked

"I'm fine I just have a lot on my mind" I admitted

"I'm sorry if you need to talk I'm here, but I won't pry" she told me

"Thanks" I smiled a bit

By the end of that short exchange Luca saw me and ran over.

"EDDIE" he cheered while picking me up and spinning me around

"LUCA PUT ME DOWN" I huffed

"No way" Luca said

The rest of the people here laughed at the scene, they were quite used to me and Luca acting like this. A bit after Luca stopped spinning me because he got tired and put me down. He held my hand and we went to go talk to the others until Emma finished making his cake. The rest of the night went smoothly. We danced, ate, and now it was time for gifts. He finished opening his last gift and the party was officially over, Emma and the others agreed they would clean up while I went with him. Emma encouraged me to do it before we left.

"Eddie where are we going" Luca excitedly asked

"The usual spot!" I told him

"Really? I know how to get there with my eyes closed" Luca boasted

"Really now"

"Mhm just watch" Luca said while closing his eyes

He started walking but not really in the right direction, he tripped over a pebble and almost fell.

"See a expert" he said while opening his eyes and running back toward me

"Yeah that looked like a expert" I rolled my eyes

We had a laugh together and we were almost there. That's when I suddenly stopped and tried to cover Luca's eyes but it turns out I'm too short.

"What are you trying to do" Luca laughed

"Cover your eyes so it's surprise" I huffed

"Okay fine fine" he agreed and closed his eyes

"This time I won't let you fall," I said while grabbing his hands.

We walked and finally made it to our spot, I told him he's allowed to uncover his eyes. He saw everything I set up and I said surprise. He hugged me, and I looked at him and he was crying a bit.

"Wait I haven't even done anything" I said confused

"Thank you Eddie, just this makes me happy"

"Wait i made you some stuff come look"

I took him over to the cake I made and showed him the painting I made him- he loved them both. We were about to leave after finishing our little party when I grabbed his hand.

"Actually wait there's one more thing" I told him

"Oh?" He said while turning around

"I decided for your birthday I am going to also give you myself"

"Yourself?" He said confused

"Yes" I said while I got down on one knee

"Luca Balsa will you marry me?" I asked

Luca stood there dumbfounded before saying yes, and jumping up with joy. He hugged me and refused to let go.

"LUCA YOUR HUGGING ME TO TIGHT I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE" I wheezed

He loosened his grip but still hugged me

"Much better" I said in relief.

Me and Luca walked back to the manor hand in hand, this ring may just be a promise for when we get out of here but I think that we can make the best of things while we're here. We could always have a wedding at the red church, although it isn't the best place or perfect by any means it will still do, we ourselves aren't perfect either. Maybe that's what makes us get along so well.

Bonus because this was posted a bit late:

"Edgar are you good you have been thinking for like a billion years" Luca said while waving his hand close to me.

"I AM NARRATING LUCA."
