Sick Day

Luca's POV- it was about 12 pm and me, Edgar, Andrew, and Victor had a match together. We are supposed to be going up against Leo which is good and bad- he can be easy to kite but when he uses his abilities it gets a bit tricky. I had just changed into my costume, we all decided to wear our A tier costumes to be cool! After getting changed I checked the time and headed down to the matching room, Andrew and Victor were already there and talking. I joined them and shortly after the hunter walked in and waited too, everyone was here- at least I thought. We were about to start the match when Andrew realized Edgar wasn't here.

"Guys wait... Edgar isn't here" Andrew commented

"Wait your right!" I realized

This isn't good, Edgar is almost never late- is he okay?! I asked myself, longing for the answer I told the rest of the group I would go check on him.  I walked down the hallway to Edgar's room and knocked on the door, I got no response so I entered, I grabbed the knob of the door and it was thankfully unlocked. I walked in to see Edgar passed out with a bunch of tissues.

I ran up to him and gently shook him awake, " Edgar are you okay?" I asked worriedly.

"Of course I'm okay I don't need your help" he insisted

After saying that he had a coughing fit, I tried to help him but he refused my help. This went on for another half hour, until Edgar eventually gave in. I laid him down and propped him up with pillows.

"I have to go tell the others me and you won't be joining them today, stay put until then okay" I told Edgar

After telling Edgar I would be back I went and reported to the others the situation, they said it was okay and that they had back ups.

I went back to the room and Edgar sitting up, "Edgar I told you to stay put" I huffed.

"Okay fine" he rolled his eyes

Edgar hates asking others for help, but as his boyfriend I have to take care of him.

I went down to Emily's and got some supplies, she was busy with others and so she gave me directions on what to do. I thanked her and then left.

I went upstairs and turned back to Edgar, I checked his temperature, it was high so I put a cold cloth on his forehead. I asked Mary earlier if she could bring us up some soup for lunch and she agreed. As we waited for Mary I began to run my hands through his hair before planting a kiss on his cheek. Edgar was tired but in his sleep state he told me " Luca you're such an idiot if you keep being around me you'll be the next one sick."

"That's okay I don't mind" I told him, he rolled his eyes but after hearing that, he opened his blankets motioned for me to come in.

I smiled before joining him, and soon embraced the same warmth he had. The warmth encased my body, and I knew it wouldn't take long for me to fall asleep like this. I tried to fight the sleepy feeling but I couldn't, it seemed Edgar couldn't either since he was already fast asleep. I joined him in the dream world as I too fell asleep.

~No Ones POV~

Mary had just finished preparing lunch for the survivors and remembered she had to bring up some soup for Edgar and Luca, since Luca was taking care of Edgar. When she got up to the room she had a very convinced feeling that she would be bringing up soup again since they were most likely both gonna be sick. She placed the bowls of soup on the table being careful to not wake the sleeping couple. She gave them one more look of awe before leaving the room and closing the door behind her. "They really are perfect for each other,'' she laughed to herself.

-The next day-

Luca- "uh hey Edgar...."

Edgar: "yes Luca...?"

Luca: "I think I may have-"

Edgar:  "you may have...?"

Luca: "a cold..."

Edgar: "I TOLD YOU SO"
