Hair tie

Luca's POV-I was in a match and focusing on decoding, I already got two ciphers done alone and now I'm on the third one. I was so zoned into my work I didn't even hear Edgar come up behind me, I only noticed him when he wrapped his arms around me causing me to fail a calibration.

"Oh I'm sorry Lu" Edgar apologized feeling bad about causing me to mess up

"No it's okay Eddie! but aren't you supposed to be kiting" I asked

"Nope the hunter is friendly today" he smiled

"aw so my decoding went to waste?" I frowned

"No! i'm sure it's good for something and the others appreciate it because they get to vibe with the hunter" Edgar tried to reassure me

"You think? , well if they're all relaxing how about we take a break then since everyone else is" I suggested

"Sure" Edgar said while grabbing my hand

We we're about to leave when I noticed something. something felt much different.. It didn't take me long to figure out what happened. My hair tie was missing. Edgar, confused at my sudden stop, looked over at me and in reply I said "it's gone, my hair tie" I frowned. Edgar looked at me knowing I hate having my hair down, "I'll find it for you" he smiled while going to look around the cipher. We searched for a bit but still found nothing, the others noticed us looking for something and started heading over. Edgar took off his hat and put it on me to cover up as much as he could- he was too short to shield me so this would have to do.

"Uhm is everything alright?" They asked

"Everything is just fine, when do I ever need your help?" Edgar huffed, and with that Edgar turned away and grabbed my hand. We're in the map Leo's arm factory so Edgar took me far away and we found a comfortable place under a tree.

"Edgar wasn't that a little mean?" I asked

"Eh probably" he shrugged

"Actually they're probably used to it by now, wait till the next time your kiting and need help " I laughed

"Well I won't need them anyway if your there" Edgar huffed

Spending this time with Edgar did make me feel a little better, I mean how could you not when you have a tiny painter boyfriend sticking stickers all over you and painting random things on your arm. Me and him were laughing and joking around when he took out his hair tie, he ordered me to turn around. He put my hair back in a ponytail then leaned over my shoulder to see my face.

"just how you like it" Edgar smiled

"How did you know?" I said a bit shocked

"it's one of my many talents" Edgar hyped himself up

"well you're certainly very talented" I smiled and planted a kiss on his forehead in return as a thank you
