Firash's POV

I drove to a nearby park with a heavy heart. It was aching like it was set ablaze. It couldn’t contain the pain that inflicted on it.

Its been four year. Four miserable years, I’ve been searcing the whole world for Sanem just to find out the clue to fnding here were just a few seps away.  She too has been trying to get in touch with me.

Damn! I’ve called her names, an ungrateful being for not wanting to be found.

Sigh!

Two couples playing lovingly on a bridge caught my attention. They reminded me of Sanem. It was Summer and she used to love wearing floral gowns with a big knitted hat. I walked to the bridge and smiled at the couple while they passed me. They look so beautiful.

I brought out the old kaleidoscope from  my blazer jacket and stared at it for a moment.

“Firash, we should visit all the bridges on this kaleidoscope.”

“Why? Is there secret behind them or anything?”

“Yes. They are all ancient bridges with love story. It is said that lost couples that are bonded with true love will always meet here.”

“That’s cringe...they are thounsands of bridges in the world. I doubt that.”

“Tsk Tsk. You’re so boring...anyways i want it.....

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I remembered Sanem and when we got the kaleidoscope in Honolulu. Look at it now. It was old and worn out, the edge was broken.

Oh My God. I miss Sanem so much. I pray God protects her wherever she was. And to also grant my wish of seeing again. My heart was aching so much while i played with it. I sniffed while i peeped through it and notice a faint figure from far. The figure was reflecting through it from the edge. While it moved closer, i noticed it was a woman.

I dropped it and turned my face away. “I just wanted a time for myself on the bridge, now someone wants a photoshoot.” I hissed and stood up. When i walked away, i heard my name was called in faint voice. I ignored it and continued to walk fast.

“Firash it’s me.” the lady’s voice sent a shiver down my spine. My legs paused and refused to move. That voice...

“Your ears are not lying. It’s me, Sanem.”

I looked back immediately and there she was. The reflection was hers. Sanem. The moment our eyes met, she ran into my arms. My body electrocuted as she crashed into my arms. For 10minutes i was speechless. I squeezed her into my chest almost crushing her. I’ve missed you. She kept whispering. My whole sense still couldn’t believe she was the one.

I was staring at Sanem while she threw rock pebbles into the nearby lake. I listened to all her stories. She was nearby just few metres away from but my confused heart never thought of it. Ofcourse, I wouldn’t. Who would have thought Murat, that jerk was keeping her so close. That smart psychopath. I cursed silently.

“Go to turkey.” She warned. There was fear in her eyes and voice.

“Why? You are here already...i dont need to go.”
