Firash's POV

It was glorious, colorful autumn and our 1 year anniversary.
We'd just left the coffee shop. When we walked by, she had giggled and pulled me inside, saying "C'mon, let's be basic white people and get some pumpkin pap!. I don't like pap. I never had. But when she handed me my cup and looked into my eyes while I tried it, it was the best thing I'd ever tasted.
My hand still tingled where she grabbed it.

As we walked through the park with our drinks, a light drizzle began to fall. She pulled out an umbrella from her bag, I pulled up my hood and hunched my shoulders.

"Don't be silly," she giggled, pulling me under the umbrella with her. I couldn't help but laugh too, her laugh is infectious.

As the sun started to shine again, she pulled me down to sit on a bench. She beamed down at me, and I could only gaze back adoringly.

"So Firash..." She began. I knew this tone of voice, it's dangerous.

"Who do you like?" She whispered, and I looked away. I knew what she meant, Halima. She was always putting a comparison between herself and Halima. I wanted to say, 'you, you, a thousand times you. You're the only one I can ever think about. You're gorgeous and sweet and funny and...'
Instead, I shrugged my shoulders and looked down at my cup.

She looked at me with a cautious smile. "If I tell you mine, will you tell me yours?"

"Okay," I said.

"The person I like...is you." I drop my drink. And looked at sanem for a while, she never trusted me with Halima. It hurts whenever I looked into her eyes I could see it in her eyes. She couldn't hide how she felt.

"Sanem. You know that's how I feel right?" I smiled.

"Are you sure? Baby." she tangled her fingers in mine and looked into my eyes. "I know. Don't mind me. I was just pulling your legs." She kissed my hands and smiled.

"You said your dad will be arriving from China, aren't you supposed to be at the airport by now." Oh yes! Dad will be back today. I've got just one hour. Oh shit!

I planted a kiss on her forehead before I ran off in my car. Daddy hates waiting. The road to the airport is not really busy but a very long way. Why the hell does this airport have to be far? I gritted my teeth and stepped on the accelerator. If daddy arrives before I reach the airport today, I'll have to listen to his rant and time advice throughout the day.

"Excuse me? Excuse me?" I made my way through the impatient waiting crowd. It's the business class, why the hell does it have to be this crowded!?

I waited for about 30minutes without seeing Dad. Where is my old man? I dialed his phone but he wasn't picking. Maybe he was ignoring the calls to punish me. My dad could be stubborn sometimes.

I walked to the canteen in the lobby area to get some water and also have a clear view of the arrivals when my eyes caught my dad from afar. He was standing with a white man in shades. He had long black hair. Very handsome. That explains why he didn't pick my calls. He was having a conversation.

Who is that?

"Dad" I called as I walked up to them and hugged him. He looked at me with a long sad face, like he wasn't happy to see me. "Are you mad because I came late? Dad, I was here a long time ago, the crowd was too much that I didn't see you. Am sorry." I held his hands and smiled.

"Oh well, who do we have here? Maina's son." The white man in white suit grinned but my dad didn't say a word. I couldn't take my eyes off him, he looked so familiar.
