Firash's POV
Since the kiss incident with Sanem, It's been a disaster. She was avoiding me like plague. why? The only time my eyes could see her were during meeting and that's all. I missed her so much. Was she avoiding me because she regrets the kiss or what?
That wont be a surprise to me but fuck! She liked it. Her hands were pulling me towards her. My mind kept thinking of her.
Finally it was the last meeting of the project. i couldn't concentrate at all. My eyes kept looking at Sanem who was sitting across the table. She was avoiding my gaze and pretending to be engrossed in the topic of conversation. I threw hard and tricky questions to her,but anxiously answered me with a straight face.
For godsake, when is this meeting going to end?
Grace whispered something to her and the looked at me before laughing. it was obvious they were talking about me. She smiled at me. Ohhhhhh! My heart.
My face lit up when Ugur finally said "Thank you everyone for your hardwork. This launch of the magazine is the beginning of a bigger goal for us. Lets keep up with the good determination."
"Where is she?" I looked around the meeting room but she was no where to be seen as usual.
"Excuse me" I made my way through the worker out of the door. "Have you seen Sanem?" I asked a janitress i saw cleaning. She looked at me with a confused face. "I...I don't know who you're asking about." I rubbed my forehead with my palms impatiently.
"A slim beautiful lady with red hair. She's beautiful...gorgeous." i states anxiously.
"Oh. the lady in a white shirt. She went towards the lounge in a hurry." I ran off. of course she will be in a hurry. She was definitely avoiding me.
"Sanem, wait. please." I finally caught up her pace. She stopped and inhaled the air of confidence to face me.
"Hy. Firash. Congratulations on the successful launch of the magazine." She forced a grin of pretence.
"Its our hard work. Congratulations too." I moved closer to her but she stepped back. "We have..." but she interrupted me immediately. she doesn't even want to listen to what i was saying.
"I have to rest and get ready for the party tonight," she said and left to her room. i hurriedly followed her and was quick to stop her from closing the door with my legs.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"We need to talk."
"Hah! talk about what? I want to rest now and by the way we have nothing to talk about." she sat on a stool in front of her mirror and starting wiping off her makeup.
"Stop lying!" i screamed. "Did i do anything wrong? You've been avoiding me for 6 days now. You started acting weird after the kiss and..." she hit her hand on the table and silenced me in a few seconds.
"Not a word about that...i don't want to talk about it,"
"But why?" i walked slowly and stood at her back looking at her reflection in the mirror. "This is more than torture, I couldnt stop thinking about the kiss..."
"I told you not to mention it."
"But its the truth!" I screamed. "Sanem, i want us back. i know the kiss was wrong but i don't regret it all." she looked up at my face. i sat on the bed and faced her. "Sanem i swear i never forgot you, my heart was always aching. Those last words you said to me still echo in my head, blocking my road of fully acquiring happiness." i stopped to catch my breath. "Sanem, i regret leaving you and everything, so please don't hate me too much."
