Under Water

"Where are you going?" a baritone voice made me shivered again and again.

And I saw Sir Joaquin is now heading on my direction. He's wearing a simple v-neck white shirt, a khaki shorts and with the pairs of color brown flip-flops. Gosh he's so damn handsome even it was so simple. His hair also in a messy style, because of the fresh wind go on his direction.

I can't stopped myself but to admire him. At para ba akong na mesmerized sa presensiya. And I couldn't stop myself to stare at him, while he's going on my direction and his gazed always melted me. At malapit na talaga siya!

"Are you going to out...?" he asked me while he's a bit closer to me now.

"Ano... o-oo, Joaquin...," I immediately answered him, and try to step back, so we could have a distance from each other.

"At tapos na naman ako sa mga gawain ko. Manang Rosalia agreed, that I can go with my friends. Mabilis lang naman kami...," I added in a low voice.

But he kept to be closer to me. And I smelled his expensive perfume, even his shower gel. At ngayon ay nakayuko na 'ko, dahil ayokong makita nito na para bang namumula na ang pisngi ko. Dahil na rin iyon sa nangyari kagabi sa sasakyan niya.

Until now, I can felt his soft lips and still imagine the night that he kissed me incessantly inside his car. In the dark night. The wind and rain are non-stop for winding and dropping. That was a hot night for me, although it was so cold, because of the cold weather.

And now, I don't know, how can I face him, because of the kissed that we shared last night.

"Where...?" he asked me in a manly tone.

Napa-angat ako ng tingin at halos sa dibdib niya na lang ako nakatingin, dahil mas matangkad ito sa akin at hanggang dibdib lang ang tangkad ko sa kaniya.

"Ano... may bonding kami ng mga kaibigan ko... Malapit lang naman sa rancho, dahil may ilog doon...," I whispered and still can't help but to stuttered while answering him.

"Can I go?" he asked in a calm way.

Kaya naman kaagad akong napa-tingala sa kaniya. And are eyes met but I can see on his eyes now, the desire towards me.

Napalayo ako ng kaunti sa kaniya, para maayos ko siyang ma tingnan at pinoproseso pa ang sinabi nito sa akin.

'He want... What?! He want to go with me?'

"Ano... Okay lang ba sa 'yo? I'm with Lorieca and Cherrie. Also Laurence and Renzo are there too...," I explained in a low voice.

I saw him winced when I say the name of Laurence, but he just suddenly nodded at me. At gusto niya talaga sumama sa akin.

"Let's go?" siya pa ang nag-aya sa akin.

He also held my right hand. At naglakad kami papunta sa likod ng mansiyon, kung nasaan ang kwadra nina Rucker at Ebony.

"What style of bonding you're saying?" he suddenly asked me and still he was holding my right hand.

"Bali picnic at liligo sila sa ilog...," I answered.

"You're going to swim?"

Pinasada niya pa ang tingin nito sa akin. Umiling lang naman ako, dahil hindi naman ako marunong lumangoy. At wala rin akong gamit na dala, kun'di ang sling bag ko lamang na ang laman ay panyo, pitaka at ang cellphone ko.

"I don't know how to swim. Ikaw ba gusto mo? You can get some clothes, para pangbihis mo mamaya. Maganda ang ilog at tanawin. Nakakarelax. At kitang-kita si daragang magayon."
