48. 𝘚𝘗𝘖𝘐𝘓𝘌𝘙 𝘈𝘓𝘌𝘙𝘛: 𝘐 𝘚𝘈𝘞 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘞𝘐𝘓𝘓𝘠

THREE DAYS LATER

"Good morning Mei, how are you?" I yawned as I entered her mini workshop, Mei greeted me with a warm hug, which caught me off guard. "y/n! I'm so glad you answered my call! Midoriya told me that you two talked about updating your hero suits, and I know that you didn't ask for anything but I was really excited to do something for your suit so I made these little babies!" Mei handed me a pair of normal looking combat gloves and I eyed them curiously.

"Erm, that's so nice of you!" I thanked, but she laughed and shook her head. "Put them on and press that small button over there.." Mei exclaimed and handed me a small remote. She was jumping excitedly as I slipped on the gloves, they were pretty comfortable and flexible. It almost felt like I wasn't wearing any gloves in the first place. Mei squeaked as I reached for the button and I chuckled at her excitement. "Alright then, here goes nothing.."

My eyes widened as sharp claws appeared from the tips of my fingers and Mei started clapping. "Do you like them?!" She asked, my lips formed into a smile and I hugged her. "They're amazing! Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to make me these!" Mei smiled dismissively and told me to use them well, I thanked her one last time before leaving to go to class.

On my way to class I ran into Mr. Aizawa and we walked to class together. "So have you been getting any nightmares again lately?" He asked as the two of us walked quietly through the empty hallways. I shook my head. "Not really, I haven't gotten any dreams or nightmares since that night..." Mr. Aizawa hummed quietly and patted my head. "Well, if anything happens, you know you can talk to me about it."

I nodded, but our interaction was cut short when we reached the classroom. When I sat down on my desk, Shoto smiled at me from his seat. It's his little way of saying good morning if we didn't have the chance to do it before class. I smiled back but my attention was drawn back to Mr. Aizawa as he cleared his throat. "Morning. Now that Midoriya is back, we'll go into more details about work studies." Wait, he's back? Oh yeah house arrest was over for him. Poor Bakugou still has one day left.

"Please come in." He ordered. The door to the classroom opened and revealed three people, Midoriya and I shared a surprised look when we saw the wall guy enter the room. "We'll have people who have experienced this first hand tell you about how these are different from the internships. The three third years at U.A. who stand at the top of all U.A. students, also known as the big three." Aizawa introduced.

My eyes narrowed as I examined them, the only one I recognized was the man from three days ago. The girl looked very kind, but the other boy looked like he was about to burst from nervousness. So they're the big three huh? I'd love to fight them. I wonder what their quirks are...

"Okay, can you please introduce yourself briefly? Let's start with Amajiki." The elf eared boy froze, his body started shaking and it looked like he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. He turned around and faced the wall, the girl walked up to him and tried to calm him down, but it was to no avail. "Well then, this is Tamaki Amajiki. And I'm Nejire Hado." The girl said, pointing to the boy and herself.

"We were asked to talk to you about work studies. But wait..." She paused, her eyes narrowing at Shoji. "Hey, why are you wearing a mask? Are you sick?" She asked as she stood mere centimeters away from his face. Shoji looked uncomfortable, but thankfully she backed away. Well, to target someone else that is...

"Oh! You must be Shoto Todoroki! How did you get burned right there?" Nejire asked. Shoto and I both tensed up and I stared at the third year. I broke off the stare instantly as she turned to me this time. "You're y/n Takami right? Wow I can't believe how soft these are..." She mumbled as she caressed my feathers like I was some sort of bunny. I heard her gasp softly as she saw the burn marks peak a little from my uniform.
