84. 𝘐 𝘛𝘈𝘒𝘌 𝘈𝘕 𝘐𝘕𝘚𝘗𝘐𝘙𝘈𝘛𝘐𝘖𝘕𝘈𝘓 𝘛𝘙𝘐𝘗 𝘛𝘏𝘙𝘖𝘜𝘎𝘏 𝘑𝘈𝘐𝘓, 𝘈𝘎𝘈𝘐𝘕

"All Might! In coming! The assassin is heading to U.A." Keigo spoke into his phone. He sounded worried, frantic and frankly terrified. "Hawks calm down-" "Be careful! please! It's- it's y/n." He panted, trying to fly as fast as he could. But with her newfound speed y/n had already reached the school. After a feeling of unease caused by Danger Sense hit Midoriya, he stepped outside of school grounds to see what was going on. All Might spotted the boy outside, making him curse and start running through the building to get to him.

"Midoriya?" y/n's voice called out. Midoriya turned around to look her in the eye. "y/n? You're back!" A little smile tugged at his lips, but there was something off. His Danger Sense was still bugging him. But he hasn't realised that the y/n he's talking to wasn't y/n, and that the person speaking through her body was Shigaraki. All Might shoved the gates of U.A open and ran towards Midoriya, but paused when he saw y/n. "Yeah..." She sighed, rubbing her neck nervously. "Why did you run? Where were you?" He pressed.

"Oh y'know.. I just felt like I needed a break. I lost hope in becoming a hero, but now I'm back and more ready than ever." y/n explained, her hand discreetly sliding into her pocket and wrapping around her gun. The two of them were quicker than lightning. y/n took out her gun and pulled the trigger, but Midoriya used Black Whip to slam her hand into the wall she was leaning on, making the bullet fly past his head.

All Might snapped out of his daze and ran towards the two, at the same time Keigo and Shoto had arrived and landed a few meters away from the two. Keigo held out his hand towards All Might, stopping him from running head first into danger. "That's some neat trick.. that danger sense of yours..." y/n spoke, staring at her restrained hand. Her tone wasn't friendly at all. This was a tone y/n rarely used and only to villains. "y/n?" Shoto called out. She turned to him. "y/n is on sabbatical honey.."

y/n was about to use her free hand to pull out another gun, but she was quickly knocked out by Bakugou, who noticed what was going on after walking past the windows. She fell limp to the ground and Shoto sprinted towards but got stopped by Bakugou. "Hold on." He told Shoto. Midoriya restrained y/n with Black Whip and they took her with them inside. Daisuke, who was there to speak with the principal and Aizawa about safety measures, spotted them bringing her inside of the building.

"Here! Bring her over. I know what to do with her." Daisuke waved them over. Aizawa and principal Nezu followed him when they saw y/n, and Daisuke led all of them to a truck to drive them to the commission base. Shoto, Midoriya, Bakugou and Aizawa sat in the back with the unconscious, restrained y/n. All Might sat at the front with Nezu on his lap while Daisuke drove and Keigo flew above the vehicle for safety reasons. Midoriya was staring at y/n, wondering how he could've let something like this happen to someone so close to him.

Bakugou however had revenge on his mind. He was so pissed at the fact that they were using y/n so despicably that he clenched his fists so hard he almost popped a vein. Aizawa was beating himself up for not noticing y/n's state before the fight at the villa, he couldn't believe that he didn't go out to search for her and just blindly trusted the commission after what he heard about them. Keigo was lucky that the wind was blowing away his tears, because that wouldn't have been great for his hero image. But he was just so distraught. His sister was gone, and not in the way where he knew how to bring her back.

He just needed to trust Daisuke to know what to do. And Shoto.. Well he hasn't lost hope yet. He spoke to y/n. The real one. And she wasn't about to give up and submit, so he wouldn't either. He believed in her, and he believed that she was the strongest person in the world. He loved and trusted her more than anything. He trusted that she would come back to him. And he'd welcome her with open arms and the brightest smile he could muster.

When they got to the base, Daisuke called out for help from the medical department of the commission. They escorted y/n to the built in emergency room of the base, leaving the others to wait in the waiting room so that Daisuke could explain the chip situation. "There's a chip in her head..?" Keigo whispered in disbelief. How could anyone have done that to his sister... His only family... He was devastated. And very, very angry. "We need to wait for her to wake up from surgery first before we can ask her how she got into the league's hands. Go back to U.A. We'll call you when she's ready for interrogation."

Nezu and All Might were the first to leave, then a few hours later Midoriya and Aizawa followed suit. Bakugou left much later at around midnight, but Shoto and Keigo waited until she was out of surgery where they got a glimpse of her being taken to another room. "I'm sorry sir but I must ask you to leave. Officer Daisuke will contact you when she's ready to see other people and talk." A nurse said to the two of them. Shoto wanted to say no, that he wanted to stay with her, but Keigo shook his head at him and led him away.

Keigo drove Shoto back to U.A. in his car and dropped him off at the entrance. "Listen, kid.." He spoke up before Shoto could open the car door. "Thank you for taking care of my sister when I wasn't there." Shoto wrapped his hand around the feather that y/n placed in his trust. "It's the least I could do for her after everything she's done for me." Keigo looked at the feather around Shoto's neck and noticed that it was one of his sister's. He then realised something. "She really loves you doesn't she." He said with a sorrowful smile. Shoto smiled too.

"And I really love her."

TWO DAYS LATER

Shoto, Midoriya, Bakugou, Aizawa, Keigo, All Might and Nezu all stood in the lobby where Daisuke had told them to go. "You got called over too?" Shoto asked his two classmates. Bakugou nodded. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone that saw her got called over." Midoriya observed, staring at Keigo, who was looking off into the distance lost in his own thoughts and worries. Aizawa kept his head down to cover how tired he was. With everything going on, and the newly increased worry about y/n's current state, it was hard to sleep at night and stop thinking.

"Come with me everyone." Daisuke entered the room and motioned for them all to follow him. He led them to a room with white walls and a giant box made out of glass in the middle. They were shocked to see the way in which y/n was tied up, it was slightly terrifying and made her look like a villain. y/n was on her knees with her head down, a straitjacket keeping her hands tied to her chest. She had a chain around her neck and ankles, and one that held her wings open like a framed butterfly. There was a bandage on her temple, presumably from the chip extraction.

"We had to take precautions, we don't know if the effects remain after taking out the chip or if Shigaraki can control her without it, so we're keeping her for observation until we can make sure that she's back to normal." Daisuke explained. "Why the fuck is she chained like an animal?" Bakugou spoke what everyone else was thinking. "Well given the fact that Shigaraki seemed to have enhanced her strength, speed and senses, we couldn't really take chances in case she tried to escape." He explained. They all went silent when they heard the chain around y/n's head rattle. She looked up at them and gave them a dazed smile.
