ONE WEEK BEFORE THE SHIE HASSAIKI RAID

The sound of my footsteps echoed through the vast hallways, agents stared at me left and right. I was summoned here to the main commission base on a supposedly urgent matter, I had no idea what was going on but my only choice was to comply. My hand shakely knocked at Hidou's door, I heard her sigh and stand up before opening the door and ushering me inside.

Hidou sat down and motioned for me to do the same, I hesitantly complied. This whole ordeal was making me nervous, it's been a long time since I was summoned to this office which means that whatever is going on must be really important and dangerous. "Alright. A few years ago we had sent you on a mission to raid a base that contained quirk amplifying drugs, do you recall?"

I frowned. I... I somehow remember every detail of the mission plan, the information about the drug and layout of the base. But... I can't seem to recall what happened during the mission... I don't remember any of the member's faces or names... This has happened to me before, I remembered everything about a mission except for the execution of it, and every time I asked Hidou about it she'd just blame it on my 'bad memory', even though my memory is excellent.

"Yes. I remember the Trigger drug." I responded. "Well, the same people who participated in that deal, known as the Shie Hassaikai, are now distributing quirk that have the ability to erase quirks. Now unlike Eraserhead's quirk, these bullets have the potential to damage the user's quirk factor and leave them quirkless, do you understand?" My hands trembled while I stared into nothingness.

Quirk-erasing bullets...? I've heard that word before, I just don't know how, or when, or why... My head began pounding, all this confusion was overwhelming me. "y/n. y/n!" Hidou's fingers snapped in front of my face, trying to get me to focus again. "Do you understand?" She asked again, her voice angrier and harsher than before.

"Y-yes ma'am." I muttered, clearing my throat. She sighs and sits back in her seat, angrily shuffling papers. "Right, back to what I was saying. Pro-hero Sir Nighteye found out that Kai Chisaki, the leader of the Shie Hassaikai, is using his quirk on a little girl named Eri to manufacture these bullets." They're doing what to a little girl?

"What I summoned you here to tell you is that there will be an operation to raid the hideout and rescue the girl when we find it, and you will be on that mission since you are a valuable asset." I couldn't care less if she was using me as an asset again, the only thing that I wanted to do at that moment was to rescue that little girl. No matter the cost.

This was unforgivable. Using a little girl like that, I barely knew anything about her yet the urge to help her was overwhelming. "When is the operation?" I asked, my eyes staring at the distance, looking completely lifeless. "We'll inform you when we find the hideout. Here are some files on Chisaki and Eri, I want you to memorize as much information as you can. Dismissed."

I grabbed the files and sped away, on the way back to the dorms I read through both of the files multiple times. Chisaki's file had a picture of him, and my eyes would always go back and stare at it. He looked so familiar... But I couldn't for the life of me remember where I saw him before this. His eyes had a haunting aura that sent chills through my body.

I have to help that girl. No matter what it takes.

8 AM, IN FRONT OF THE POLICE STATION

(No one's POV)

The police were spreading pamphlets around with the Yakuza members identified quirks on them so that all the heroes could memorize them. y/n stood quietly in the corner, she had already received that paper an hour earlier and she remembered every single one. y/n was hunched over a small photograph of the little girl, her wings were covering her face like a small curtain as she eyed the picture.

She was ordered by Hidou to wear one of the stealth suits instead of her hero suit. The suit was all black, and looked quite similar to her normal suit, and she was armed to the teeth. She had countless hidden knives and multiple guns. y/n's classmates were completely unaware that she was a participant in this operation and were shocked when they spotted her in the crowds. Midoriya, Kirishima, Uraraka and Tsu weaved through the crowds to make sure that who they saw was actually y/n, since her new suit made her look very different. More.. intense.

"y/n? What are you doing here?" Kirishima asked after nudging her shoulder and snapping her out of her trance. y/n looked up and smiled, shoving the picture inside one of her pockets. But Midoriya managed to sneak a glance at the picture before she could hide it. "I'm here on orders from my superiors." She answered simply, not going into any details. "But y/n, you didn't get your provisional license yet ribbit." Tsu pointed out.

"Don't worry, I'm here under special circumstances that allow me to use my quirk without a license." y/n lied. Her classmates nodded, Kirishima, Tsu and Uraraka all left to talk to the third years leaving y/n alone with Midoriya. Midoriya opened his mouth to ask about the picture but a gruff voice interrupted. "Hey." "Mr A- Eraserhead!" Midoriya greeted. "I will move with the Nighteye agency. You do know what that means right Midoriya?"

Midoriya nodded quickly and Aizawa's gaze turned to y/n. "You're moving with us too Takami." He reminded, y/n nodded. "Heroes!" The head of the police shouted, grabbing everyone's attention. "Things might get a little violent. We're up against gangsters who have survived until now, so don't let your guard down and carry out your respective tasks. We will commence the operation at 8:30!"

OUTSIDE OF THE YAKUZA BASE

Everyone scrambled to get in position, y/n sighed and calmly walked to hers. She's done stuff like this many times before so she was used to the routine. "Takami..?" A voice muttered from behind her making her jump in surprise. She turned around, only to be met with familiar piercing yellow eyes.

"Misao?" She gasped, shocked, yet pleased to see her old friend from the exams. "You remembered me!" He squealed, engulfing her in an excited hug. "It's been so long since I've last seen you! Is this a new suit? It looks so cool!" The redhead rambled. y/n placed her hands on his shoulders and tried to calm him down. "No it's just my stealth suit, what are you doing here?"

Misao raised his head up high and gave her a confident lopsided smile. "I'm here as Rocklock's potential sidekick candidate!" He announced, looking excited as ever. "That's amazing! You'll definitely get the spot dude." y/n beamed and patted his back, happy for her friend. "Is everyone ready?" The head of police asked, cutting their conversation short. y/n's face turned serious again and she loaded her gun, ready for action.

"Alright, we'll go in on my count. Get in position!" He ordered. y/n took a deep breath and put on her face mask and goggles, for anyone who didn't know her, she looked quite terrifying. Her eyes completely emotionless under the mask and her wings dangerously sharp, she stood in an intimidating stance awaiting orders. A deathly aura was radiating off of her, she truly did look like an assassin.

"On my count!" The officer began. "Three," Sounds of guns being loaded echoed through everyone's ears. "Two," y/n's eyes widened when she sensed loud thumping behind the doors, but it was too late to warn anyone. "One-" Before the officer could complete his countdown, a giant muscly man who y/n recognised as one of Chisaki's right hand men.

"Shit.." She muttered. This was going to be a tough operation.
