"I don't want to go!" Danny all but yelled at Lina as he crossed his arms defensively over his chest and glared at his friend.
"Stop acting like a child, you're coming with us" Lina scolded not even looking at Danny while she straightened up the sofa and folded the blankets Tonks bad been using as a bed cover ready for the wash.
"I'm not acting like a child" Danny grumbled.
"Really what are you acting like then because if you can find a better word than a child then I'm all ears" when Danny didn't reply Lina moved into the kitchen to place the bedding into the wash basket. She then looked around the kitchen to see if anything needed to be done and that was when she saw the dirty dishes in the sink - dishes that weren't left there by herself or Cedric. "I'm going to kill him" she mumbled to herself.
Lina in a huff poked her head out the kitchen to watch Danny who was lazily sitting on the sofa, she thought about having a got at him but she knew that wouldn't work. Puffing out her cheeks she took the seat opposite him. "Alight spill."
"What are you talking about?" Danny asked looking at Lina with boredom but underneath that Lina could see a flash of panic bubbling away.
"I'm talking about what's got you so down. For weeks I've had to watch you drown yourself in beer, being moody, snapping at everyone, pouting at everything and I'm sick of it Danny. You're one of my closet friends and I am not going to watch you destroy yourself. You know what you remind me of actually when I was in love with Cedric but he was with choooo, my Merlin are you in love with someone!" Lina exclaimed leaning forward.
Danny rubbed the top of his head, just when he looked like he was about to answer the front door opened.
"No!" Lina accidentally yelled.
"Nice to see you to honey" Cedric chuckled leaning against the wall a small smirk on his face.
Lina looked up at Cedric, her eyes widening as she did, he was wearing knee-length sports shorts and a work out shirt that clung to his chest with swear, his bare arms looked more toned than normal and his hair was messy and windswept.
Danny rolled his eyes "and that's my queue to leave before Lina jumps Cedric's bones" he moved to leave but Lina reached over and grabbed his arm.
"Yes, you best leave to go get dressed because you are coming with us."
"Sure mum" Danny muttered sulking off to his room.
Lina watched him leave with her mouth slightly agape "he called me mum" she said incredulously looking back to Cedric.
"Well you have been acting like his mum lately" Cedric chuckled, he picked Lina up with little effort and walked with her still in his arms into there shared room, where he proceeded to drop her down on there bed.
