There was an immense sense of panic and confusion amongst everyone in the marquee, heads were turning to where the silver Petronius had disappeared. Silence spread as no one knew what to do.
Then somebody screamed.
The scream awoke something in the guess, guests were sprinting in all directions, many were dissaparating. The protective enchantments around The Burrow had broken.
"Cedric!" Lina yelled, she pushed through the crowd trying to find her boyfriend before the Death Eaters arrived.
It was too, cloaked and masked figures were appearing in all directions firing spells everywhere.
Lina quickly pulled out her wand "Protego!" she yelled blocking the spell coming her way.
Lina could make out about half a dozen men but whether they were Death Eaters or Ministry officials Lina wasn't sure. As long as spells were being fired at her she was going to continue to protect herself and others.
The spells stopped quickly, everyone in the order knew that the newcomers were technically Ministry officials and could send any of them to Azkaban at any moment.
The Ministry officials forced all the remaining guests into chairs. Lina was sat next to Tonks, the furthest position away from Cedric.
Realisation settled into Lina's stomach making her feel sick, she felt scared not for herself but for Lucy who was now a witch with Muggle parents living under Voldemort controlled Ministry and Tonks who was pregnant.
"Search the house" barked one of the men. Two robbed men left the marquee and Lina saw them disappear into The Burrow.
"None of us know where he is" Remus spoke up calmly, knowing what or rather who they were here for. Lina looked over at her surrogate uncle, his facial expression matched his tone of voice but his eyes flickering over to Lina and Tonks every couple of seconds gave his true feelings away.
"Shut it werewolf" the man who looked like Macnair sneered.
"Anyone who gives up Potter's location will be heavily rewarded," another one said. When no spoke he continued "no one wants to volunteer this information...very well let's do this the hard way then." He pointed his wand at Bill and then at Fleur, Remus, Cedric, Mr Weasley, George. It was like he was playing some sick game of Eeny, meeny, miny, moe. Eventually, he stopped on Tonks.
"Do you have anything to say?" He questioned.
Tonks did not answer only sat herself up higher.
The man raised his wand higher. Lina knew what spell he was going to be spoken before he uttered a word.
"Wait!" Lina shouted standing up. The whole order looked at Lina confused, was she really about to give up Harry? Of course, she wasn't going to but she wasn't about to let this Death Eater torture her pregnant cousin. "She doesn't know where Harry Potter is?"
